This Particular Day...

Hello everyone! How are you all? Well, if you ask me, I'm fine. It's like my first time for me to blog this early afternoon! hehe...I am very happy today! Read more to find out why.

Well, this classmate and friend of mine invited me to her birthday party, this coming 4:30pm at her house. I am really excited since this is my first time to attend to a classmate's birthday party, because usually, I really don't have the mood for attending them. Now, I just want to attend so that I would have some experiences :), and besides, her house is just near from our house. I'm glad my parents also allowed me. And my sister and brother would come also. I hope we would enjoy it! Because of this excitement, I really woke up early this morning, did some chores I need to do, and a lot more! I also took a bath early, and prepared well, eventhough it is still too early to do that. This is what happens to me when I get excited! I'm also glad I could also give her a gift!

Every early morning when there are no classes, I already made a habit to text my friends while waiting for my family members to wake up, since sometimes, I am usually the one who wakes up first. One textmate is a guy friend (and classmate) of mine. Whenever we text, my inbox always goes almost full! Around 45 messages! And my cellphone could only store around 60 messages. So, greater than that, it may cause problems on my phone. I also had a new textmate early morning, you know, my birthday classmate. This guy classmate of mine gave me her number, to greet her a happy birthday. Now I have a lot of contacts on my phone! But these are just for important purposes, in case we would have group activities, and many more. This is my purpose for my cellphone, to communicate, to entertain, and to inform.

Oh! I forgot to tell you in my previous post...I won in ABS-CBN's electronic raffle promo (for Boys Over Flowers)! My prize was P800 load! At first, when I received a lot of load from AutoLoadMax, I was astonished about it because I don't really know what it is all about, and my mother was the one who opened it. And my load reached around P1, 050! I was so surprised! But moments later, there was a text message from ABS-CBN saying that my received load was my prize for the said electronic raffle promo! Knowing this, I was so joyful! It is my first time to win such contest! And I didn't even think I'm lucky! My purpose for joining the raffle is just to enjoy and push my luck! I love it!

Don't forget to tag on my tagboard, in order to be linked! I also automatically link those blogs that I bloghopped, so, be lucky that I might bloghop your blog! Don't forget also to link me back if I linked you!

I'm starting to like blogging now! I learned a lot of things already, just like the link exchange, for example! And to put some codes on my blog to pimp it a little bit! Now this is my certified hobby!

Saw my new blog template? I changed it because the dark one looks so sad and gloomy, so I changed it to light colored! And one member from MyLot also commented about it and said it looks "blase" (did I mention that I am also a member of this particular site? I am mentioning it now..hehe...). I posted a discussion about it in that site. It is also a great site to be a member in because we could earn money, by just joining and starting a new discussion! But I am not so crazy about this site, and I don't know why :D.

Are you bothered by my often changing my blog appearance? I am really like that because I am always not contented on everything! So, yeah, I am like that, and if you don't like it, well, sorry...hehe...

Don't forget! My upcoming BIRTHDAY! 12 days to go!

That would be all for this post, bloggers! Got to get ready for the party I was talking about!

Just Another Day

Hi everyone! Read the title? Yes, you read it right. It was certainly just another day for me. Things happened as they usually do, waking up late so that I won't be running errands (LOL), ate my breakfast, surfing the net, ate my lunch, snack, doing some chores, and later, eat my dinner. But it was not all that ordinary! Let me tell you some things that made it that.

Last morning, when I was looking for a CandyMag button to put in my blog, there were lots to choose from! I really like their buttons just like what I had posted there on "I am a Member of" section. Now, I found something to represent myself as a proud member of CandyMag.com/ and also something to pimp my blog a little bit :)

I also made a link exchange section on my blog, to promote my blogsite! It is on the "Navigations" section. Just click "LINK EXCHANGE" and then see some of my friends (and family members) who are there and to visit to. These people are also some who tagged on my Shoutbox. So, tell me something there and inform me to link exchange with you. Sorry by the way to those who asked me to link exchange a long time ago, I did not do it because I did not understand yet what it is all about and I am still new to Blogger then.

I'm happy that I know already a lot of things here in Blogger, with the help of my friend and schoolmate, ate Pearl. Now I also learned how to promote each other's site by link exchanging. Thanks also to those tutorial sites that taught me some codes to put in my blog, like eerie-silence.net/ and also to those graphic sites like ego-box.com/ and CherryBam. This is now my worthwhile thing to do here on the net!

On TV, I watched a movie entitled "Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes". It was, for me, a great reality movie! It really showed how apes lived and the actor there is actually NAKED! haha...that's why, I stopped watching that movie for a while, and just watched it when it is almost ending...hehe..how real! I also watched a little of "Goin' Bulilit" on ABS-CBN. They are funny, just like "Banana Split", also from ABS-CBN, and shows on Disney Channel and Nickelodeon! :) I really like comedies, to laugh and enjoy!

You know what? Too bad for me and my sister and brothers, we couldn't play Pet Society in Facebook anymore because it causes problems on our computer. This game also made our mouse not work anymore :( and also for our other computer, it (the Pet Society game) slows it (the computer). My parents now banned us from playing it. Here are my memories for the game (the pictures):

My newly updated pet

My pet (the one in purple) dancing with another pet (the one in red - my sister's)

Sorry for the image, it is too big. I couldn't even resize it because it distorts the image.

Well, those are my memories for the game that I could never play again..huhu... :(. Might as well play another enjoyable game other than that on Facebook, like "Who has the biggest brain?", and "Typing Maniac".

Have you notice that in some of my blog posts, I usually put pictures? I do this so that my blog would be understood more. No one would ever like to read something without pictures, right? :)

My BIRTHDAY update! It's already 13 days more to go! Wo0ho0o! I'm going to turn 14! (Image from holidayjoys.com)

That's it for now, Bloggers! Thank You very much for reading and visiting my blog!

I Share to You...

Hey everyone! How are you all? Well, I'm fine. While writing this blog, It's raining very hard here in our place. Oh, how I hate it! Well, I only hate rain if it is very hard and doesn't come at the right time. I'm feeling cold already.

Our Buwan ng Wika Culminating Activity was great. We won three (3) awards, namely: Theme Structuring, 3rd place, Bulletin Board Structuring, 1st place, and Essay Writing, 1st place. I love it! Maybe it's our lucky school year for 2 - Einstein since we always win! Me and my classmates won them together! I'm happy for them since they really cooperated. In unity, there's strength!

I'm glad that my Science teachers would still accept our Investigatory Project write-up on Tuesday. And it is also reasonable since the dilution of our lemongrass still hasn't reached 1 week, and my Chemistry teacher wasn't around yesterday. My Technical Writing teacher still would accept it, too. But I hadn't asked yet my Biology teacher because I just forgot. I really hope to have a good grade here. And I also hope that my group members would help, so they would also have a good grade, since their grades are low.

Have you noticed my Google Adsense? I placed it there so that I would also earn income...hihi...check on them if you like! They are actually interesting ads.

You know what? In our school, there are a lot of no-class days. Last Friday was the Ninoy Aquino Day, and today is our Cagayan de Oro Fiesta. On Monday also, there are no classes, and I forgot why. I was confused because I thought the Ninoy Aquino Day holiday was transfered on this day, and the original day of the holiday would have classes and work. But on this original day of celebration, there were still no classes. So, I am a little uncertain that there would be classes on Monday or not. I asked the my teacher and then she said there are no classes. But then again, a schoolmate of mine chatted with me on Facebook just a while ago and asked that same question to me. So, I just answered what I had in mind, no classes. It's confusing, isn't it?

On this coming 4th of September, we would have our recollection! Finally, another time to get together and know one another. And guess what? It's almost my 14th birthday! I'm so excited! 14 days to go, right?

If you want, you may watch this music video, well, lyrics! It's a song I like! Enjoy! (Better watch it to know) It is actually a sad song about love :(. PussyCat Dolls sang the song, I really love their songs!

Well, that's it for know, bloggers!

You’ll be there, when I needed somebody…

Do you like the title? This is a lyric from a song, Picture of You by Boyzone. Do you remember? It could be heard from a Mr. Bean movie, but I forgot the title. I really like the beat of the song! So cheerful and catchy! I’m listening to it right now while writing this blog. I had a picture of you in my mind, never knew it would be so wrong! For me, this song is a dedication to someone who is very close to us and is always there for us when we need them!

I got so happy today because I have finally found where downloaded songs are placed on our computer’s documents. Now, even without internet connection, I could still play music, since what I always do on the internet is listening to music. I found popular Tagalog songs, songs by Westlife, Chicago, Boyzone, Barry Manilow, and a lot more singers. Luv it! It is only now that I looked over our computer’s documents, because during that, there was no internet connection, and just decided to explore!

One question…have you notice that when we write “blog”, it is underlined red in Microsoft Word? I never knew that word isn’t found in a dictionary! Haha…so funny, for me, I guess. I always thought that such word exists. I typed the word on Encarta Dictionary and the meaning could be found! So, why doesn’t this word exist in MSWord? Hmmm…I wonder why!

I would now proceed…

Finally! 1st Periodical Exam has ended! So you think I am now relaxed…wrong! I still have to make our write-up for our Investigatory Project, which is due this week! Huhu…I couldn’t pass it this week because our lemongrass’ dilution hasn’t reached 1 week yet. And if it already did, now, I still couldn’t pass it because there is a program tomorrow for the Buwan ng Wika’s Culminating Activity. And on Friday, there are no classes. I hope passing it on September 1 is still ok, because then again, there are no classes on August 31.

For our exam, I hope I would have great results, because I really studied hard for it. I should keep up my good work! I really hope I would get high grades!

I’m so excited for tomorrow, for the Buwan ng Wika Culminating Activity especially the Laro ng Lahi! I have a lot of close friends who are in my group. I’m in a mood for playing these kinds of games, for now. I hope that it’s ok not to wear Filipiniana tomorrow because my attire does not fit me anymore. Besides, most of my classmates don’t have that kind of attire also, right? So, no need to worry, I think. But I won’t have plus points, sadly.

Too bad I’m not one of the presenters on Buwan ng Wika. If I was, I would have points, and then it adds to my grades for the finals. But it’s ok, I could still cope up. I just hope I could still maintain my scholarship.

Well, that’s it for now, bloggers!

Love them!

Hey everyone! In this blog post, I would love to show you some graphics I like! Here are some of them:

I had just signed up for Twitter! Here is how my page looks like:

Does it look good? I really like flowers that's why I made it my background. I also like the color pink.

I like cute graphics, like this: so cute and kawaii!

I got this from cherrybam.com

I'm starting to like kawaii graphics now! They are so cute! It took me long to find a database of graphics like these!

That's all guys! Had nothing to say anymore. I had said it all in my previous post... :) Thanks a lot for visiting!

Through the Week...

Hey everyone! I'm back! How are you all! It's been a usual week for me. We had some lessons, reviewed for the exams for next week (Monday to Wednesday), quizzes, seat works, and the like...as usual in school. The only thing new is that we had some Buwan ng Wika contests, essay writing, and sketch mapping, which, ahmm...well, I have something to tell you about.

Let me tell you the story about it...read on...

This week, Tuesday is our essay writing contest, Thursday is our sketch mapping contest. I really regretted being a contestant here. It's been a hard contest since the magazines and newspapers provided for us by my classmates don't have related pictures and content to be put on our sketch map, we didn't really prepare for it well because we don't really know what it is all about, my classmates who are also participants for this contest seems to be of little help, and a lot more. I should not have exchanged with her on being a participant for essay writing. I should have defended it well that I really want to be a contestant for essay writing because it is a thing that I can do well. All I have to do there is to write what's on my mind! But since what's on my mind is to try joining other contests to have new experience, I just agreed. I do not want to be on that contest again, because I have a lot of bad experiences there! I really felt bad about it because I really want to win contests, it means a lot to me. If I had been a participant for essay writing, I would have a great chance to win, since I think I'm good at it. But sketch mapping?! I do not expect to win that contest especially when my other contestants are not so good, dumb, unwilling to help, take the contest for granted!

It was a week of many regrets and ill feeling!

I guess I'm done releasing my anger! Sorry to hurt your feelings if you read this! For just so you know, I'm just expressing my feelings and have no intention to hurt you all. I am aware of the fact that "words do not break bones, but they do break heart". And I hope I would not break your heart. I know that when our hearts become hurt, this feeling would last a lifetime. But when our body becomes hurt, it may just last for a moment of time, and for me, little chance of lasting a lifetime. So, don't think this is offensive, OK? Is that already settled then? May I now proceed?

Well, for my exam results, they were great. My technical writing is 96/100, being the highest. Intermediate Algebra is 46/55, with 9 mistakes, being the second highest.

For my Investigatory Project, "Effectiveness of Lemongrass (Cymbopogon) as Insect Repellent", it went well. As usual, my members here also seems to be of little help. They always forget to bring what I assigned them to bring, even though it is only to bring empty spray bottles! So far, only one member passed one to me, 3 more bottles to go. My other member bragged to bring 4 spray bottles, but didn't really mean it. We are four (4) members by the way, in the group.

Want to see a picture on our investigatory project? Here it is:

This was done at my house, since it is a hassle to do it in school. Is the picture kind of blurry? If it is, sorry, because I'm not really a good photographer. This picture shows bottles of Ethyl and Isopropyl Alcohol (already empty), a jar containing 125 grams of lemongrass diluted by Ethyl Alcohol, and another jar containing also 125 grams of lemongrass diluted by Isopropyl Alcohol. We are going to dilute these for one (1) week. Our deadline for this is within next week. I hope our Investigatory Project would be successful!

Last Monday, we had our election of officers for the Book Lovers Club. I am so happy because I was elected as the President! It would be very busy now for me. And it may also add a big point for my extracurriculars in school! List of officers (for High School) are:

President: Vanesa Salcedo
Vice President: Hanie Vessa Eguia
Secretary: Pearl Therese Aton
Treasurer: Kaycee Hofileña
Auditor: April Pagara
PROs: Rygin Guegue
Irene Templo
Sgt. At Arms: Eloise Amoncio
Charizze Mae Andoy
Social Managers: Fons Albert Pestaño
Kissel Yam - oc
Muse: Elaine Salas
Prince Charming: Lorimar Sabellina

Next week, Monday to Wednesday, is our 1st Periodical Exam. It would be great because the 3 subjects, Chemistry, Biology, and Technical Writing, would have one exam! And the exam would be all about the Investigatory Project. So, at least some subjects are omitted for the exam. Remaining subjects are Intermediate Algebra, Filipino, Computer, Social Studies, English, Geometry, Values, RHGP, and PEHM. Still many, right? I guess so.

Another event next week is the Buwan ng Wika Culminating Activity! On that event, we would have presentations, dress in Filipiniana attire, have the "Pista ng Nayon", awarding, and a lot more. This event would be on Thursday, August 27, 2009. The day next of that is Friday, August 28. Do you know what event would take place? It would be the feast of Cagayan de Oro City! Of course, we would expect a lot of food and fun there! It is also a holiday, meaning, no classes! At least we would also have time to rest for the tiring activities we have!

That's all for now bloggers! Thank You very much!

I Thought This was Just another Day....

Hi everyone! I'm back! You like the title? It came from my one of my favorite songs, No Ordinary Love by MYMP (Make Your Momma Proud). Want me to continue it?...oh, never mind...haha...I just remembered this song by now. HmmmM...I know what you're thinking, but it's not true...this does not remind me of my crush, because I don't have one! Promise, I don't have.

Well, enough for that. I wanted to tell you that this week has been great! Social Studies exam was very easy, got a high score in Biology (although I got 3 mistakes, but that's just small), got the highest mark in English (although I have 2 mistakes), got chosen as one of the participants for the Nutrition Month Cook Fest, and a lot more. I also had a great time with my friends. Hard work does pay off!

Tomorrow, we would have our Nutrition Month Cook Fest, and I'm one of the participants. There are 6 participants in all, including me, my classmates Christianne, Rocky, Paula, Joice, and CJ. It is an honor for us to represent our section, the 2nd Year Einstein, and also we are the ones chosen by our teacher adviser from our class! I wish I could help a lot, since every year in nutrition month culminating, I only could help on a few things, and I want to change that this year. I hope tomorrow would have no classes, since my teacher adviser said that they are uncertain that there would be classes tomorrow or not, and we should just prepare our books just in case. And oh! I did not buy yet the assigned requirement for our PE, the 3-meter ribbon which we do not have an idea on where to buy it. So, yeah.

This week, and last week, were very busy weeks, with all the assignments and the activities we had.

You know what? Internet connection today is so slow! And I don't know why, maybe because of the heavy rain and other reasons. Some websites take too long to respond. Oh, how I hate it. I really want everything to be fast and accurate...haha...

That's it for now! Have nothing to say anymore today! Thank You very much!

Take a Deep Breath

My new blog title, "Take a Deep Breath". I change it because I would want to make it a little unique, not like a song lyric, common blog title, or a lot more. So, yeah.

You know what? I found a lot of great songs today! I found them in www.playlist.com, the teen choice award playlist at the homepage. Some of these songs include, Party in the USA by Miley Cyrus, Walking on Snow by Jordin Sparks, Fire Burning by Sean Kingston, I Got a Feeling by Black Eyed Peas, and a lot more. I also found out that American Idol Finalists and Winners, Kris Allen and Adam Lambert, already had a song. Kris Allen's song is entitled, "No Boundaries", and Adam Lambert's song is entitled, "Want". These are also great songs!

Some of the songs I mentioned are on my playlist way below. I changed the setting to not automatically play it so that it would not disturb you and you can play it whenever you want to. So, just click the play button on the playlist.

A while ago, 1:00 pm, we had our COSAA Season Opening. Too bad I did not join...huhu...because I did not receive full detail on what we will do, which events would take place, what to wear, and others. I'm not also sure that the Chess players are included (I'm a chess player by the way). Our chess coordinator did not tell us, so, I did not join. I do not want myself to be involved in complicated situations. How I wish to have joined that event. My mind always thinks, "What if attendance is graded or a must?", or "What if competitions took place already and I must be in it?", and another one, "What if I would regret this?". If I just attended that event, I would have (I think) no worries.

If my decision is wrong, it's ok. Everything happens for a reason. And besides, there are still a lot of COSAA events to take place, I could still join them. I could still ask my classmates or schoolmates what happened on that "Opening" and everything. And I also did some worthwhile activities here at home, like blogging, designing, and a lot more. So, that's it.

I hope this decision would not be regreted. So help me God!

That's all for this post!

Last School Day of the Week, Friday!

Hey everyone! How are you all! Been missing a few days again...because of school. I had a great school week today! You know why? When we checked our test papers, the results came and I had big scores, a 50.5/60 in Geometry, and a PERFECT score, 60/60, in Filipino (all line of 9!)! In geometry, most of my mistakes are in angle measuring (5 mistakes), maybe I had an error in measuring them, in true or false, 8 out of 10 on that part of test, then for the last part, 2.5 mistakes. So all in all, I have 9.5 mistakes, am I correct? Yeah, checked it. In Filipino, I got a perfect score because I studied and the exam is very easy for me. Then, for the preliminary defense of the Investigatory Project, I prepared well for it, answered the judges questions as well as I could, received feedback, and didn't get scolded (well, I had never been scolded by a teacher in my whole life, but I hoped that this wouldn't be the 1st time, hahaha :))! I learned that hardwork can always be repayed.

Oh! I just remembered! Monday is our Social Studies exam! Better study for it!

I would limit my time for blogging...

Before I proceed, I would like to greet my schoolmate, and also a blogger here in Blogspot, Ate Pearl (called her "Ate" because she is older than me), a Happy 15th Belated Birthday! Sorry for the late greeting...

Happy Belated Birthday also to my teacher, Sir Boni...late greeting again...

Happy Advance Birthday to my elementary teacher, Teacher Leah, my former classmates, and friends, Genevie, Princess, and my classmate Aidanne...now it's an advance greeting, haha...

Yeah, those may be all that I would greet a happy birthday to...

Well, I hope they would read those.

Now I can proceed. Last Wednesday, we didn't have classes. I spent my time this day designing my blog, and thought of having 2 pages in 1 file. I asked Ate Pearl about it then gave me a tutorial link. At first, when I clicked the link then read the instructions, I did not understood it well, specifically, the linking of the pages. But for constant focusing on the subject, I finally understood! Thanks for it Ate Pearl!

She also taught me about the revert of classic templates, or at least it is like that...link is on the shoutmix box, what "Pearl" posted.

You can look at my source code if you would like to know how i've done it. But do not alter them because if you do, YOU'RE DEAD! It takes a long time to perfect my blog you know, and I don't want to let it go to waste! "Time is Gold"...wahaha...

Well, that would be all! Thank You!

Smile!

Hi everyone! I just want to show you my pictures! I customized it in Photobucket. Take a look:

Photobucket

Me!

Photobucket

pa Cute! haha...^_^

Like it? There's more on my Friendster and Facebook account!

These are two of my favorite pictures, for now...

That's all!

In a Mood for Korean Songs!

Yeah, you read it right, i'm in a mood for listening Korean Songs! I love their songs, even though I do not understand them, since I'm not a Korean citizen. My playlist has korean songs, you can listen to them. I hope you like it too! I love their style, the beat, the message it brings, and a lot more!

I do not understand Korean, but I do understand a few! Like "saranghe" means "I Love You". "Puhushipta" means "I miss You". Well, that's pretty much it, haha...when I mean a few, I mean very few!

My fluent languages are Cebuano (our native language), Tagalog (our national and official language), and English (our official language). You see, I'm a Filipino. So, don't talk to me if you cannot speak these languages...haha...sorry...if you cannot speak these languages, you may learn them if you want.

Here in Blogger, I do not speak/write Cebuano and Tagalog, since it is not a linguafranca and it might be awkward for me to do it when only few will understand. So, my aim here is for everyone to understand my blog, right? haha...

That's it for this blog! Thanks!

August is Here!

It is finally August! This month is the "Buwan ng Wika", in english "Month of Language"...haha...it was in this month when Manuel L. Quezon made Tagalog as our official language in the Philippines. Since our country is an archipelago, meaning a group of islands, each island has their own language. For them to understand each other, Manuel L. Quezon, our second president after Emilio Aguinaldo, made Tagalog as our official language. Our other official language by the way is English.

This month is also a month for our Investigatory Project, a group project where we conduct experiments and investigations. When we are done with this project, we usually give our oral defense to our pannel of judges. These judges then will select the best groups, but since our group never gets selected, I never expect to be one of them anymore. For now, we are still making of our proposal. We would have the preliminary congress after it. September is the final congress for the best investigatory projects. I wish we would qualify for it...haha...i'll push my luck.

On this day, and yesterday, we had our exam. It was a little hard since some of our teachers didn't really tell us specificly what would come out in our exam. But I did answer most of the questions, as usual, haha...I didn't mean to brag, but I always study well when there are quizzes, exams, and a lot more, that's why I do good in my studies. I hope that I would get a score close to perfect :) or even better, perfect! No mistakes! I hope I wouldn't get a line-of-8 score, that is already very low for me. Please God, help me!

I aim to be the Highest First Honor again, since in 1st year I was, and it felt really good walking up the stage receiving my Gold medal and another medal for being the Freshman Student of the Year, and also a full-tuition Scholarship! I hope to be the Valedictorian when I graduate from High School, and the Cum Laude, Magna, or Summa Cum Laude when I graduate from College. I aim to finish school with flying colors! I also hope to have good character, fixing my easily-angry, lazy attitude, so that I would be easily hired for a great job with very high payment. I aim to be the BEST of the best!

I want to be successful in life!

That's all for now!
