Reminiscing 2009!

Hello everyone! Happy new year to all! I'm so excited this midnight to party at my neighbor's, at the same time, relatives' house! As usual, we would also see and hear the noisy fireworks! In this post, I'm going to talk about all, or if not, most of what I had been through this year 2009! I don't know if it's going to be long or not, I will again blog about whatever pops out my head..hehe.. :))

Okay! So lets start with January 2009! Well, it had a bad start. I got sick for 2 days, and it was already school time, I mean, the first two days of class in January. So, I missed a lot of activities. I wonder why whenever January comes, I always get sick or absent in school because of some reasons. But oh well, I just hope that this 2010, I will stay healthy!
Still in the same month, we had our backyard camping in our school! It was one of my memorable moments of my life since I made new friends, we had some bonding, and a lot more! We practiced and practiced for our presentations so that it would be perfect. We won a lot of awards from the contests we had! I was happy at that moment, I think..hehe.. :D

In February 2009, this is when I was so excited for the school year to end! As what I had remembered, teachers were already busy computing the grades, since March is coming and exams are usually early, for honor students, which includes me..hehe.. :)) Nothing really memorable had happened in this month, only that.. :DD

March 2009! My most awaited moment in school..haha..! We had our early exams, during the 2nd week of the month! I really tried my best to answer them all well so that I could still have a good chance of being a top honor student! As what I had observed, maybe I really did well on the exams, since my grades did go way higher that time! I had a teacher who gave me a below 95 grade from 1st grading to 3rd grading, even though I always perfect each activity he gives..LOL..but in the end, he finally gave me a fairly high grade! I did maintain my top honor rank, with the help of my good academic performance and the extracurricular activities! After the exams, there was nothing to worry about but practices! Attendance is a must at that time, so, with my nature of being obedient to rules, I did attend every practice day they had, especially that I'm really the one who should be followed, by other high school honor students and awardees, during the marching. All we practice really was the MARCHING, and nothing else. They really want to make the program orderly. But I like it though. If I didn't want to join their rehearsals, I would really miss school! It was indeed, another, memorable moment, because it was my first time to top the class in the finals! I garnered two(2) medals and certificates, one for the First Honors, and one for the Freshman Student of the Year! I was a full scholar for the 2nd Year! I was very, very happy! I wish I could do better than that for the following school years of my life!

Summer '09! We had our first family beach outing! I was again happy! I really enjoyed swimming, since it had been long that I hadn't done it. I had been swimming, learning it, since I was 5 or 6 years old, but later stopped. We really had a great time!

Still during summer, I enjoyed it because we did some worthwhile activities, like playing badminton, watching TV, and other stuffs. When summer had almost ended, we bought books for the next school year, and I was excited to study them all! I was eager to start the sophomore year!

Early June 2009, this is when I had started blogging at Blogger. My schoolmate, ate Pearl, had inspired me to make one...hehe.. :D I liked my experience in blogging because I had made new cyber friends and all! :)

June 2009, this was the first month of school! The first day of school was great! I had met a lot of new faces, especially in the first year class, because they are indeed very many! 3 sections made up first year. That's how much our high school population had increased! Usually, we only had 2 sections per year. But because of the big increase of the high school population, first year was divided into 3 sections! It will take me a long time to familiarize their names..haha.. ! It started well! We had a new principal, so we also had to adjust with her.

July 2009! It is the Nutrition Month! We had a lot of activities in school, relating to the celebration. We were encouraged to eat nutritious foods. This is also the start of the preparation for the Investigatory Project, that we would present in September. It was kind'a busy for us and the teachers.

August 2009! The Buwan ng Wika! W0ah, great! We were encouraged to really speak in Tagalog during Filipino subject period. Just like July, we also had a lot of activities. This month, I was one of the participants of our school's Poster Making contest. But unfortunately, we lost. Well, it's ok, I got over it already! I was not feeling good about it because my other participants in the contest didn't really cooperate. This month also had a lot of holidays, meaning, no classes! It was also because of the AH1N1 flu, that some of the schoolmates and teachers had symptoms already. AH1N1 Influenza virus had been an outbreak in the Philippines and other parts of the world since late May 2009.

September 2009! The month of my birthday! I turned 14! But before that, a lot of good luck had came to me! We were one of the finalists in school for our Investigatory Project, I topped the class honor roll for the first grading, and I had won some other school contests! On the 12th of September, that was my day! Since it was a Saturday, my classmates just greeted me a happy birthday on the Friday. I'm glad they all remembered my birthday! I was so happy! :) We also had a field trip, going to Crocodile Farm, Nature's Spring, and McArthur Park! It was my first time to see in person a crocodile and an ostrich!



October 2009! The Foundation month of our school! But unfortunately, we didn't have the Intramurals. It wasn't as happy and joyful as the other foundation days we had the last few years, since our school's founder just passed away 2 months before this month. Our theme was the native preferences our founder had. We presented dances and songs.

November 2009! The first day was All Souls'/Saints' day. As usual, we had our usual gathering, to pray for our passed away loved ones.

Yeah! The last month of the year, December! Everyone's excited for Christmas and the new year! We had outreach programs in school, and we also had the Christmas party! They are indeed memorable! I was very happy when these events took place!

I thank God so much for this great year! I'm glad I survived it! I learned a lot of lessons from my challenges, my ups and downs, and a lot more!

I enjoyed this year so much! With my family, and other people who are there for me! My friends and classmates, who kept me not bored in class because of their noisiness, and kept me also happy! Same also for the teachers! That's what I like about school, when you have inspiration, we can do well in what we are doing, hardwork pays off, and friends are always there to cheer us up!

I thank my parents for teaching me to be disciplined! Without them, I wouldn't be what I am right now! :)

I will survive the next year! 2010, here we come! I wish all the good in the world! :D

Countin' 1, 2, 3

Hello! I'm here to blog again about my day today, and also for yesterday.

Yesterday, we went to my uncle's house for our Family Reunion. We weren't really complete there. We're glad to have a family gathering to get together again. This family reunion was from my father's side of relatives. Actually, we just ate and talked about our lives nowadays. Their food was so delicious! I ate a lot of fried chicken, brownies, empanadas, and a lot more! I was so tired of taking care of my baby brother, since he always went to many places, and I wasn't really used to walking, or even running, with my high-heeled shoes. My foot hurt during the night...LOL..xDD I couldn't really talk to my cousins, because they are way older than me, and I also couldn't talk or get along with my nieces and nephews, because they are also way younger than me...haha.. :)) I have nieces and nephews because my cousins already have children. I enjoyed the night, well, a little. :)

Maybe I couldn't post pictures, because privacy may be affected.. :(

Well, I'll just edit this post if I finally decide to put pictures.. :D

Today, I was so happy to know that it's already 2 more days to go till 2010! I'm excited for this year to end! I hope next year would be good, and there would only be less bad luck to come. I hope that Philippines could choose the right leaders to reign the country during the elections.

I already had my new year's resolutions! Here they are:

Okay! So, they are: to change my bad attitude, try to be a better person, to work and study harder, and not be too complacent. (Background from EGO - BOX.com)

I want to change my bad attitude because I know it can make me a better person. I'll try to be less irritable, less ill-tempered, be more caring, and a lot more. I want to work and study harder because I know that how I work and study today, particularly in school, is still not enough for me to be successful. Although I had already reached this far, I'm still determined to go farther. I won't be too complacent, especially in competitions, so that I wouldn't regret how I had acted like that. Another on the list would be to stop procrastinating! Because if I still do, my work would pile up, and besides, we could do that certain job now. If we wait for later, work will pile up and maybe we couldn't finish them all anymore.

This morning, me and my sister were once again left alone at home, to do some chores. My sister slept all morning, and woke up 1pm! Could you believe it? My bad side thinks she waked up at that time so that she couldn't help me with my household chores, while my good side thinks she waked up at that time because maybe she was very, very tired last night. But it is still good that she wakes up at that time now because when classes resume, she could wake up early, not being tired anymore.

Oh, no! I still had studied a little on our Intermediate Algebra, and our contest is coming near! I wish I could still cope up! I really would want to win it! :D I hope our teacher would review us.

I'm so happy that I had finally reached Nirvana in Plurk! It motivates me more to increase my karma!

By the way, now I'm thinking about college. I wonder why I still couldn't choose what course I should get! My parents want me to choose Computer Engineering, while I think it is also good to choose Accounting. I still don't know what school I should go! Would it be here in Cagayan de Oro or in Manila? When it's going to be here in CDO, my choice would be at Xavier, Ateneo de Cagayan University. When it's going to be in Manila, my choice would be at University of the Philippines. You have any suggestions, readers?

I could totally relate to this one, especially that there are a lot of things that had happened to me which at first I thought have no good purpose at all, but it turned out that there really are purposes that could be realized at the end! Just like what our teacher told us, everything has a purpose! I remember her story,... well this story as how I could share it to you had been, maybe, a little rephrased because it is just how I remember it! :)

Once upon a time, there was a master and a servant. The master was very, very rich, and the servant is so loyal to him.

One day, the master's business broke out. He was so upset that he blamed his servant for his misfortune. They were under the tree. He kicked the tree so hard that a branch fell and had cut his finger! The servant kept on telling his master that everything has a purpose. He is optimistic about life. The master was even more angry and decided to leave the servant in jail.

During the master's journey, cannibals came to approach him. They captured the master and prepared him for their feast with the king. They thoroughly analyzed the master's body to see if he is complete, meaning, having no missing parts, so that the king would be pleased. But as to their surprise, they saw that the man had a missing finger. They now want to release him, and they find another person instead.

The master was so happy that he came back to his loyal servant, telling him that what he has told him was true after all, that everything really has a purpose! Tick Tock on the Clock

Hello everyone! Finally it's almost 2010! I'm so excited for the year to end! Fireworks would be noisier! I'm excited to start another year!

I have made some things new already! Like change my layout! I'm glad you like them! :) I'm finally so happy to make a layout, a layout I want it to be!

This day had been a good one, because I got less irritated already of my mother telling me to do chores. Actually, I was told less of what to do because I already did my chores without her telling me. Another thing that's different today from other days is that I didn't sit here in front of the computer anymore for the whole day, because I was playing badminton instead with my brother..to enjoy myself and to lose weight! hahaha.. xD

And, another thing, I got wounded on my leg, because it got scratched by a sharp board. I'm glad the cut wasn't so deep! If it is, it would be very painful! I just hope the wound wouldn't worsen.

I had noticed that my sister wakes up very, very late already! She wakes up at noon now..LOL! ahahaha.. xD

I'm starting to miss school now. I miss the activities we had, the teachers and their discussions, my friends to laugh with, and the fun I have with them! Good thing that classes will almost resume!

I discovered a lot of neat things on EGO - BOX! I like their backgrounds, icons, scroll boxes, and a lot more! It's a great resource site!

I'm so addicted to the song Tik Tok by Ke$ha now! I like to sing along with it! Many people like it too! This song, I've heard, is so popular now! I once saw a video in YouTube with this song having over 26 million views already!

Bad Romance by Lady Gaga is also very popular, and I like this song too! Also 3 by Britney Spears! Oh, and Fireflies by Owl City! I have a lot of songs in mind now!

I wonder why I'm listening to songs that are related to alcohol..ahahaha..like Patron Tequila by Paradiso Girls feat...some artists....and pretty much also Tik Tok by Ke$ha, which sang about beer too. But I'm not really affected by their message. I just like their beat..that's all! :D Of course I promise myself not to drink alcoholic beverages ever! I wont be influenced by people around me who drink "The Bar"! hahahaha..xDD This alcoholic drink had been popular here already. It was endorsed by two popular artists like Jake Cuenca and Angelica Panganiban! :))

New Layout! and other topics... :))

Hello everyone! I just wanted you to know that I am now so happy to have another layout made by myself, well, using Blogger's Dots template as base code..hehe.. :)) Thank you so much to EGO - BOX.com for the background image and DollieCrave.com for the header backgrounds! As, maybe, what you have observed, my layout is, I think, having similarities as ate Pearl's. I kind'a got a little idea from her layout, so, thanks very much! :D

I canceled my plan of changing my layout to classic, because the work I have done for how many months would, I think, go to waste. And besides, I can do a lot with this XML-version layout if I only know how the codes work! The only thing I'm not contented of is that in the navigations, the only way to go back to the blog posts is to reload the site again. This flaw is one thing that pushes me to revert this template to classic.

Off to another topic, this day had been fine. We woke up early to get ready for going to SM, and for going to my uncle's house, which, both of them are very far!

I was a little bit nervous while having our trip to my uncle's house and SM, because I wasn't used to the road we're passing by, and there were a lot of slopes, narrow road, and very, very far! Going to my uncle's house was fine, but going to SM from our uncle's house, this really made me nervous! The road doesn't have people and vehicles passing by, because it is a mountain, or a bukid. It would be terrifying to get lost, since we could not ask anybody for directions...and more terrifying if our vehicle's gas would run out, since, again, nobody was there to fix the car, or worse, we could be stranded there! I'm glad our gas supply was enough for us to finish our trip! We're so lucky! :))

We went to uncle's house to talk about things, like for our Family Reunion this December 29, and some other random things they talked about! We talked about life in America, since they've been to that place, and also that I'm actually planning to work there someday! My cousins played with my baby brother, and me and my sister and brother listened to the conversation between uncle and my parents.

We went to SM to buy necessary things, not the iPod classic nor the new cellphone (LOL). We bought pressure cooker, pillowcases, basketball, socks, tupperware, and a lot more! :)

Christmas Eve!

Hello everyone! Happy Holidays to you all! Well, just like some of you, I'm still not feeling Christmas now, because not all of my wishes had came true, and that simply, I just don't feel it now. Maybe I'll feel it later, when I finally see the fireworks, hear the noise, and a lot more happenings for the Christmas Eve...hehe..

Well, I think these may be just some of it! My parents won't buy me an iPod or a new cellphone EVER! They think it can destroy ourselves. I kind'a think they're right, but as I see it now that most people have it already and saw that they do enjoy listening to music to it and such! I always try to think that it isn't really needed in my life but it's its popularity that makes me want to have it! hehe.. xD

Fireworks in our neighborhood are already loud here! I'm always shocked by their noise, like it's going to give me a heart attack! Not literally though.

This day was very, very busy with all the preparations for the Christmas eve! Many people came here to our place for the pamasko and they also gave us some gifts, like money perhaps! My uncle also went to our house, and my cousins, for, uh..the Christmas bonus! hehe...I like to see my cousins very happy receiving their bonus from us!

I was glad me and my sister weren't left at home anymore to guard our house! We bought food for the Noche Buena! We ate lots of food a while ago and now I'm a bit fat already!

It's still kind'a boring here at home! I'm still doing my usual routine like sleep, eat, Internet, study! But the things I've said earlier made my day a little not so boring and usual anymore.

I'm so excited for the midnight! I want to see the fireworks display already, and also party with my cousins! I'm excited also to text all my textmates happy holidays later! Yeah! It's going to be the first time I'll text on Midnights, in Christmas! I had my cellphone loaded with load now! So, yeah! :)

By the way, this new year maybe, I'm going to change my blogs layout already! I'm planning to change my layout to this! Just click for it's info! :D

Vacation...

Hello everyone! I'm back to blogging here again! How are you all? For me, I'm once again just fine. I just had a bad cold, I'm suffering from it now. You could suggest me some fast cures if you want..hehe.. :DD

This vacation of ours is somewhat boring. It's because there is nothing to do but eat, drink, sleep, texting, Internet, watching TV, and many more usual routines I could do. Another, I'm also studying a bit on Intermediate Algebra. I know it's still too early to prepare for that contest, but I don't want my work to pile up. I'm trying to get my procrastinating habit out of my self. I'm also stuck on doing some household chores, which I kind'a hate especially if my mother tells me to do it in an annoying tone (sorry Mama). This day also, this morning, my mother, father, and my two brothers were off to buy some things, and me and my sister were left to do some CHORES!!

Oh, how I wish to be a BOY instead! If I was a boy, I wouldn't do those stinkin' chores, and I couldn't be looked down by people who prefer male over female, like Chinese, Indians, Arabs, and a lot more (knew this from Social Studies). I could be tough! My attitude would fit me, and a lot, lot more! Have you felt like this, girls?

Well, off to another topic!

I'm planning to change my layout now, because I'm fed up with my layout already and that I want to try something new! I want to make my layout younger-looking just like your blogs..LOL
I know you guys are fed up with my layout too, right?

Had been Waiting... (Part Two)

Hello everyone! As what the title said, this is the part two of my previous post! I made a part two because I don't want my post to be very, very long with all the photos and text! So, I'll make this post mostly text, since the previous post is mostly pictures!

So, about the summative test, as what I have said previously, were very, very easy! I finished them quick, but of course, I'm really sure that I answered them all right! I don't answer quickly without knowing surely what I answered was right or wrong! I hope I could perfect all of these tests! I hope I could perfect the essay portions of the tests, since my teachers are strict of answers, grammar, and the like! Also for the answers' length and meaning! If our answers don't meet the great expectation of our teachers, they would simply put a lower point. I experienced this once, I answered the essay briefly and concisely, but since the teacher wants it to be expounded, I got a lower point, instead of a perfect five(5) point, I got 4! Hahaha.. :D

The most awaited moment, as a year ender, the High School Christmas Party! I have already posted pictures in my previous post, now I just have to talk more about it!

The party was so fun! We enjoyed it very much! People were dressed, make-uped, and groomed at their very best! What they wore brought out their beauty! I also dressed at my best too, but not really the very best like others were! I wore a simple retro white shirt, denim pants, and white shoes. Nothing extraordinary really. I wore white because the party's theme is, "White Christmas"! Although that is the theme, some still wore clothes that are not white! Oh, if I knew, I could have wore the dress (that's not white) I wanted to wear if the theme isn't white! But oh, well, it's finished! Ahahahah..

The party had games, intermission numbers, the highlight of the program: The Search for the Mr. and Ms. Winter 2009 and Music Video, and music from our Student Band! We also had fireworks display but I wasn't able to take a shot of it because I thought that the camera couldn't capture it anyway.

Games were Make-up Me and Trip to Jerusalem! We enjoyed watching the participants play these! These are particularly just two of the games I remembered we had at the party.

There are numerous intermission numbers! There were dance numbers from first year students, the dance troupe, and a song number by a fourth year student of our school. I could just include the performance that the Student Band had performed. They are supherb! They really did their best! I was surprised to hear from them! These really showed that our school does develop each of our talents!

There were lots of shouting, screaming, and cheering for the contestants! I could almost be deaf with all their yelling and all! The contestants were dressed at their very best fashionable clothes and makeup! They cat-walked pretty well like they want to win it! It's so bibo! As in! Owss..! Ahahahah...

Now for the Question and Answer Portion! The contestants gave their very best answers! But our Mr. Winter contestant answered a funny answer to a question, "If you were an insect, what would you be and why?"! He answered "If I would be an insect, I would be a bird, because..."! It was so funny! Isn't it that a bird is not an insect?? I wasn't able to remember his reason why he had chosen bird because I was so cracked up laughing at his answer, and so with my classmates! He could have chosen a butterfly, a lot more beautiful insects! ahahahah..!! :)) Our contestant for Ms. Winter answered a great answer to, "What is the best gift that you could give to your parents or loved ones?". She answered it is love. She is so right! It is the best gift that we could ever give because we could repay their love for us with this! And a lot more reasons...

For the Music Video contest, all the year level representatives performed their best! They have their own versions of music videos of different songs! We also enjoyed watching these!

The Students' Band performed many songs! Some of them were songs that I like! They played love songs, tagalog and english! I couldn't really remember their titles of the songs! But one of them is "Hinahanap Hanap Kita by Rivermaya"! They're great!

We watched the fireworks display afterwards and we had our exchange gift! We also had fun with these! I received great gifts!

We warmly said goodbye to each other after the party. We hugged and greet Merry Christmas! We would never see each other again until the class resume this January! I would surely miss them!

Finally it's the Christmas vacation! I thought I would be very happy with it but as I remembered that now we are not free from doing chores, I suddenly got sad, and simply not happy! I now think that school is better. I think like this when I feeling disappointed and bad. Plus, I still have to prepare for an interschool contest I, and other classmates of mine were chosen as representatives! I have to study topics in Intermediate Algebra. Oh, I thought I could finally be free but I'm still captured like a bird in a cage.. :(

This post looked like it started with a smile and ended with a sad face. :'(

It's almost Christmas! 5 days to go! Oh, how time passes by so fast!

New Year is also fast approaching! I better make resolutions for it!

I should try hard not to keep this sad face all the 2-week long vacation! I should be happy by now!

Had been Waiting...

...for this moment to come! Hello everyone! Long time no post from me! I have been so happy today, because my week went really fine! I like how our summative tests had been very easy! And the most awaited moment, our annual Christmas Party! I really enjoyed this week so much! Thanks God for everything! :)

Last Wednesday and Thursday, we had our summative tests! I was very happy because they were very easy and we only took the four (4) major subjects: Filipino, Math (Intermediate Algebra), English, and Science (Biology)! You may have wondered why Social Studies was not included, eventhough it's one of the major subjects in school. But, oh well, it's good that it wasn't included in the summative tests, because there would only be fewer subjects to take! :) This may be the Christmas gift our teacher could give us! I bet many of us would get a high score! Although I mostly procrastinated and Facebooked the whole time around when I was supposed to be studying, I still managed to find the tests easy! I didn't actually procrastinated and Facebooked the whole day. Of course I studied a little! Studying really pays off!

Yesterday morning, it was the elementary Christmas party, of my brother and sister! It had been fun watching how they partied the whole morning. I had just watched because I'm still not part of the party. Our party was in the afternoon until night! Ours was a blast! I enjoyed every moment of it! It was fun! With all the games, contests, food, gifts, fireworks display, and a lot, lot more! Here are the pictures I can share!

After these, we had our exchange gift! I really like my gift! It is a brown shoulder bag. I forgot to take a picture of it! Another gift is from my bestie! It's perfume and an angel figurine!

After the party, we warmly said goodbye to our classmates and friends! It's finally our vacation time after that and we wouldn't see each other until the resume of classes! Oh, how I will miss them! :D

Troublemaker

Hello everyone! How are you all? For me, I'm just fine. I'm just so happy because it's almost Christmas! And we also bought some gifts for the exchange gift we're going to have this Christmas party of ours! On the other hand, I'm also feeling sad and hurt, but I'm not talking about it here, it's kind'a private.

This week had been great, especially Friday! As usual, I really like Friday because it's finally the last school day of the week, and we could rest. But that day this week, I'm happy because we had our Outreach Program. We taught some low-performing kids how to read, and we also had fun with them, with all the games we had, dance and song numbers, and a lot more! I'm one of the tutors of the children! I was kind'a surprised that the child I'm teaching isn't that bad in reading after all! They weren't as I expected them to be that they could not read well, like as what some said. I like this experience of mine! We know we made them happy, and we made ourselves happy too! This activity taught us to be selfless, teaching those children, giving them gifts, and serving them.

The previous days, they weren't as bad. Well, except for the fact that my baby brother had repetitive fever and loose bowel movement the whole week. Last Monday, thank God, we weren't late in coming to school! This day had also been great because we finally knew our honors for the class! I'm once again a top honor student! Yeah! I'm still a top honor student! I'm glad my grades increased, as I have said on my previous post! The list of honors is just from our section, and not overall! :D

Tuesday was just an ordinary day. Or have I just forgotten what happened on that day.

Last Wednesday, we finally had a meeting for the Christmas party and the Outreach Program! We also had our kris kringle! I was so happy that I had picked a girl, and not a boy! Plus, she's one of my friends in school! I already had in mind what I would give her, but I'm not really certain that she would like it or not! But I indeed like my gift for her. Because of this, I have bought another one just like it for me. I won't tell you what gift I would give her, it's a secret! :)

Last Thursday, I was happy because I had finally saw the movie "2012"! As what I have expected, the movie was great! It has a lot of thrills! It's so thrilling! The earthquakes, the tsunamis, the meteors, the end-of-the-world! It's so thrilling to see the earth quake and trying to see if the characters in the movie would survive! Of course, this movie had also taught us some things about Science!

We also finalized our meeting about the Outreach program on that day.

Yesterday, I was so happy (and sad and hurt) because we had finally went shopping for gifts and clothes! I really like the clothes we bought, the shoulder bag, and the gift for my classmate. I was so thankful! Well, that's pretty much it of the happy things we had yesterday. As what I have said, I won't talk about the sad and hurtful thing. I don't want you to be sad also! This blog is supposed to be filled with happy thoughts.

You are all right, it's ok that I couldn't really update my blog always, and thanks for what you all said that made me kind'a inspired, like saying good luck in school, I can do it, and many more! To Ate Pearl, yeah, the picture I posted is inspiring, Life goes on! To Deniece, yeah, we're indeed excited for Christmas! And Friendster's new look may be disliked also, because maybe we find it hard to get used to it, since the old look that the site has had been there for how many years. To Grace, thanks for describing people giving time to themselves cool and not nerdy! :)

Yesterday late afternoon had been great! We ate a lot of delicious food, like Chicken Laureate from Greenwich! This morning, we ate Burger Steak from Jollibee! They're so delicious! As usual, we thanked our parents for the food they bought!

We watched High School Musical 3 yesterday night on Disney Channel, but didn't finish it because it's our father's turn to watch. The movie was, as usual, had a lot of dance and song numbers. Full of entertainment!

Stayin' Alive

Good afternoon everyone! Here I am, blogging again! I like it now because I finally had the mood of blogging everyday, just as long as I have time! Unlike previous days that my blog would be idle. I finally have the mood to keep this blog alive! Anyway, I have been busy managing both of my blogs now. And also, I am trying to limit my time on Facebook, as it is what my parents always tell me to. Their telling me that is getting very annoying already! So, I just have to follow them that they would really see it. I'm so mad right now, and at the same time happy.

I'm mad because I'm easily annoyed now, and that, for my grades, 2 of my subjects decreased by 3 points, and I didn't expect them to be like that! Two of them are Algebra and PEHM (Physical Education, Health, and Music). For Algebra, I really didn't expect my grade to decrease, from 98 to 95! I have known that I always get high scores in our activities for the subject! For PEHM, I also didn't expect that it may not be 100 anymore, since athletes would have a permanent grade of 100% in the subject. It went down from 100 to 97.

But on the bright side, many, and almost all of my grades increased! I was so happy to look at them, and only them though..hehe...I don't like to see grades decreased. My average grade became higher! From 96.58% to 96.79%! I, maybe, could post the picture of my report card later, not now because I haven't taken a picture of it yet. The honors haven't been announced yet. Maybe it would be announced on Monday. I just hope I would still be the top honor student!

Christmas is fast approaching! Now I keep on telling everyone of you this! I just can't help it because I'm so excited! I want to receive gifts, buy new clothes, and straighten my hair again! December is one of my happiest months of the year, along with September (my birth month), and all other months. I think I had already kept on saying this on my blog, just tell me if you're annoyed already.. :D

I had noticed that Friendster is going green already! And, their logo has changed! Check your Friendster accounts to see it! I like their new look! It's totally new! I didn't know when the site has gone like this, because I hadn't checked my account for how many weeks, and had just checked it this morning.

Now, I'm almost fed up on computer. I feel like I want to watch tv now! I want to lessen my time here. :)

Thank God it's Friday! :D

Hello everyone! Finally, today's Friday! It's the last school day of the week! Now we can rest from the busy things we did! My day's half bad and half good.

The bad thing is that I didn't win anything in our Book Week Celebration. I didn't get the top readers award, eventhough I always go to the library every lunch with my friend! I just couldn't help but feel awfully bad inside. Also, for the quiz bee, I hate it that we didn't win! Now, few extracurriculars had only been added. The only thing left to do is write legibly and completely our activities! That's life! We couldn't entirely control it! >:(

And today's also good because I knew already my grade for Technical Writing! My grade's 98, but too bad it's just half of the report card grade, because Technical Writing and Computer are combined in T.H.E. I just hope that my grade in Computer would be as high! In our Chemistry subject also, we had BINGO! I'm lovin' it since I'm almost winning! It was only one element symbol to go for me to get the "X" pattern! Our game hasn't ended since no one has gotten the "X" pattern yet. At the start, I thought bad luck would strike me because I still had no element symbols crossed out from my card. But good luck did strike me, because as what I have said, I almost got the pattern, and have a lot of crossed element symbols! We didn't have regular class on this day because of the program in the morning and the concert in the afternoon.

It's December and Christmas is fast approaching! The cold weather, the early darkening of the skies, and all that, are signs already of it! I hope my gift would be great! I really want to straighten my hair again for the Christmas party! I want my hair to be more managable, and attractive! I'm also excited for the new clothes we would buy! Oh, and December's the last month of the year! Yay! January 2010 is also fast approaching! I have made resolutions already for the year, like controlling my temper! I love it when it's December! A lot of things to look forward for!

I think I could post my picture of what I look like with straight hair...hehe.. :DD

New Blog, plus blabs about my day :D

Hello everyone! What have you noticed? I changed my font! Because as what I have observed, Trebuchet MS isn't so clear to me, I mean, it's so small to look at. By the way, I had just made a new blog! This would be the site: http://vanesanice.blogspot.com/. I so love my layout on my blog! It's kind'a boring but it's so neat to look at and organized! It also has a great message, "Smile, celebrate life's moments!". I haven't posted there much yet. I made this blog just to test and experiment layouts, but I would also use this for blogging!

This day had been somewhat great! It all started when in our Computer class, we were given a hands-on quiz, and I did it right! I also like my result in the exam, because I got the highest score! I got 93/100. In our other subjects, all we did was discuss a little and write! I forgot to bring my Florante at Laura book for our Filipino subject. Good thing that my parents did send me the book! I was so thankful! If it weren't for them, I would have no book for the subject period to study and be the guide!

My day went well. It went almost as what I wanted it to be. The only thing that happened that I don't like is that when I forgot to bring my Florante at Laura, because I really thought that we would still use the Pluma book. I was so forgetful at that time. I hope it won't happen again. Maybe next time, I would have to go home just to get it, and you know how tiring would that be!

Our distribution of cards was postponed in Saturday... :( I was so excited pa naman. But it's perfectly ok. I understand why the teachers didn't finish computing the grades on time, because of the missing requirements of the students, busy schedule, and all that. Oh, and our Teachers' Day would be next Tuesday! I would like to give them gifts, to thank them for what I have learned from them, and how they also taught us to be disciplined and responsible.

Our Christmas party is fast approaching! Woohoo!! But I wonder why we haven't had drawlotts yet. OH, well. We just have to wait! And oh, I am planning to straighten my hair for the event! Plus my new clothes! That is how excited I am! I just hope the one who would pick me would know what I really like!

I really would want to watch 2012! I kind'a envied my brother that he and his classmates watched that movie. I heard that the movie was great, and featured the end-of-the-world scene! I like to watch movies like that! With the destroying, damage, and all! Just like Jackie Chan movies! Only 2012 doesn't have action scenes..hehe.. :D
