HEY THERE everyone! How are you all doing? Finally! I found time to blog a little about the few weeks that I have been out on a hiatus! I missed every one of you in the blogging world! I guess I'd have a lot of kwentos, or stories to share to you! I had a mix of happiness and ill-feeling for the past few weeks, but honestly, I guess I have more ill-feelings than happiness. But I'll try my best to still make this blog post happy and alive, and cover up those sadness.
So, I'll tell the happy parts of the week first before I'll tell you the sad parts, so that if
I'm just actually writing what's on my mind right now, so, I guess you wouldn't expect me to tell you everything. :)
TUMBLR HAPPINESS and INSPIRATION
So, these past few weeks, I got back to my Tumblr account, and you know what? I almost got addicted to it, again! I got addicted to "liking", "reblogging", viewing, reading, and laughing at some funny posts other Tumblr blogs have! I also got inspired by beautiful lomo pictures, like those taken by DSLRs, which I'm kind'a wishing for now, but at the same time not pushing on with it since I know it's very, very expensive, that it costs at around PHP 50,000, and besides, I've got my digital cameras! So, let's get back to my inspiration on lomo pictures, here are some of them:

You wanna know what I think? I think it's a really cool layout! I'm proud of myself for making such! I wish I could still improve on this! Engaging in Multimedia Arts has been one of my plans for the future, along with Information Technology, so, this hobby, designing layouts and all that, would be great for helping me practice for those! Yeah, I'm HAPPY for myself..haha.. :DEXAMS!
Another thing that made me happy is that I think I did great on my exams, well, sort of..haha..
Actually, to tell you honestly, some of the exams were a bit confusing for me, especially in Trigonometry because our proctor was already pressuring us to finish fast since she still has an appointment to go to, and that caused me to panic, then there, I got confused with the locations of coordinates and all that, and even made more confusing with all the negatives. *sigh* I hate myself for being "trigger-happy", that I easily get panicked by some things. Well, that's who I am, but of course, I could always do something to make that right, so that the problem wouldn't stay with me throughout my life.
And, another thing! I have discovered that I could put A LOT of songs on my music playlist in my phone after all! Finally, I wouldn't restrict myself anymore to downloading less than 10 songs! Recently, I have 64 songs in my music playlist, and counting! I love it! This could satisfy my music addiction!
I also downloaded some images on my cellphone! The images are all of those I've posted here, those that are from Tumblr. I even made one of them my wallpaper, because it's cute and cuddly!
And, I also discovered some great songs from my classmate's iPhone touch! Some of them would be songs by Jeffree Star, like Beauty Killer and Lollipop Luxury. I also heard Lily Allen's Fck You, and found out that it's a great song after all, but the lyrics kind'a ruin it, since it's full of cursing and all, especially on the chorus part which says, "Fck you, fck you very, very much...", but I understand that Lily Allen just wanted to express herself through singing this song, and we could also use this to express ourselves too if we're so pissed at something, or someone, like her..haha..
Last Friday, August 27, 2010, was our school's Buwan ng Wika Culminating Activity! In the morning, we were all dressed in Filipiniana attire, or at least most of us in our school did, to honor our country and to show that we're not ashamed of wearing our national costumes. As usual, we have those musical song and dance numbers from different prep, grade, and year levels, and also from the dance troupe and glee club. I love their presentations! I enjoyed watching them all! As our emcee says, "Mga talentado talaga ang mga estudyante dito sa CUBED!", which, in English, means, "CUBED students really are talented.", and this is really true. Actually, every one of us are all talented. To those who don't think they are, they'd discover their talents later on in life. (If you are wondering what CUBED is, it's the acronym for the name of our school.)
After the program, we rested for a fewhours minutes, changed to our sports and civillian attires for the "Laro ng Lahi" in the afternoon, and to those who haven't bought their food yet for the Pista ng Nayon, went to get their gate pass forms to get out of the campus, like me.
I have discovered that going out of the campus in the middle of class hours would be a lot of hassle, since we still need to get forms and let the authorized people sign them. That time, was my very first time that I got a so-called "white form" or "gate pass form" just to get out of the campus. I was off to buy lechon manok by the way, along with some other classmates who also needed to buy lechon manok and some other food that need to be bought during that time. Well, on the other hand, it's great that I was with some of my trusted classmates.
When we got back to the school campus, as what our principal said, we need to go back to her office to "show ourselves with chicken". hahah.. I did that, then she said, "Very good! Happy lunch!". Whew! That was quite a relief! lol..
When I got inside the classroom, I was just in time for eating! Gosh! We were so hungry, that, sadly, we almost forgot to pray. We prayed anyway, then continued getting food from the table and went to our respective chairs to eat. Too bad there were only few food on the table, that didn't satisfy other's hunger, I think. But oh well, at least there was food!
In the afternoon, as I have said, was the Laro ng Lahi! I really enjoyed watching kids and older kids (the high school) play! hahah.. there were some bloopers and all that, and the emcee was fun too, I guess. There were sack races, Maria Went to Town, Tug of War, and many other games played! I only joined the Tug of War, and it was fun, and painful at the same time..lol. My hands became sore because of pulling the rope, along with some of my batchmates too. Everyone of us played on that game. Well, we did not win, but at least we enjoyed it.
It's too bad that I didn't get to have any pictures to have some memories of that program. And I wasn't even in some other's photos, ...well, I was, in one of my schoolmate's photos, but she did not upload it on Facebook. Well, that's fine. Maybe next time, I'll cling on to one friend of mine who always brings her camera during special occasions..hahah..but would that mean I'm only clinging on to her because of that? Nope! I also wanted to be with her because I enjoy her company, and she sometimes cheers me up with her conversations, and the things she shares. Another bad thing, too bad that I don't get to be with her more often, since she's on the other class section, I mean, we're not classmates.
By the way, for our Investigatory Project, we changed it from "Feasibility of Red Soil as Paint" to "Corrosion and pH Level Comparison on Dark and Light Colored Soft Drinks". What do you think of this project? Which one's actually better? Please tell me, if you want.
I'm worrying about when we could do our project together as a group right now. We're still not informed on when we'd be allowed to use the laboratory for our experiments. This Friday would be the deadline of the first few chapters of our final report, so that means our group would really need to finish experimenting before that day. I may seem to be relaxed by this issue, but I'm NOT. I may be just sitting in front of the computer, doing some random and usual stuff like Facebook and all, but deep inside me, I'm thinking a lot of thoughts about that effin' Investigatory Project, and my probable outcome for my exams. I'm thinking less and less about that love thingy now, and that's a good thing. I'll just think that I am just making a fool of myself if I'm once again thinking about that.
Honestly, I'mnot happy with my class section. You know why? It's because they're so lazy and non-cooperative, and not to mention, annoying, and that's the reason why we don't ever succeed in school contests, and we, always most of the time, upset our class advisor. It's like I not just want, but NEED to transfer to the other section just to stop being brought by their traits. It hurts me to see our class advisor upset because of us.
One example would be that our daily cleaners don't ever clean the classroom. She even made the "Thursday Cleaners", my day of cleaning, an example of the group that does not clean. Actually, I was very, very hurt that it made my heart ache when I heard that. You know, I was the only one who'd ALWAYS clean during our day of cleaning, well, in the afternoon, but I fail to clean during mornings because I'd always come to school when the bell almost rings, like in a few minutes that would be just enough to prepare for the first period. Well, I also blame myself for keeping silent on that issue. I should have told my co-members to clean. Oh, wait, I DID tell them, but they didn't listen. What the heck is wrong with them?! If only I could cry my feelings out...
Well, Wednesday afternoon was the only time that everyone, I mean, most of us cooperated, for the classroom structuring for an open exhibit on the festival we're assigned to, which is the Binirayan Festival. It makes me happy to see them cooperate well, but still, I still have those ill-feelings towards them. By the way, this picture I edited informs you about our Binirayan Festival. ...and OMG! I received Well, back to not being happy with my class section, it worries me because the other class section, which is the section for the smartest, most talented, and pretty much the best students in 3rd year, is overall better than us. In school contests, no one ever wins from our class section. I hate how I was grouped with, yeah, and not with them. It's like I'm planning to pray so hard to God that He will put me in the best/better class section next school year. And it's like I can't wait for this school year to end! That's how I'm obsessed of
I don't really get along well with my classmates, honestly, or at least I just think I don't, but in reality I kind'a get along well with them. It's just not so clear. Oh, no, no, this is not because of fights and all that, but it's because of, well, it's better not to tell you guys. Maybe some schoolmates of mine would be reading this post right here, right now.
But you know, I'm wondering why I'm acting like this towards this simple matter. There's always hope for us, right? And..this matter would get better, someday, some other time, I hope. I guess my classmates wouldn't stay like that forever, right? I'll just wait for them to change.
GOODBYE FIRST QUARTER PERIOD, HELLO SECOND QUARTER! So, Help me God!
Speaking of school year, we're finished with the first quarter! Oh gosh! (@_@) I'm quite worried of what will be the outcome of my grades! I know I did well, but it's the ranking I'm worried about! As I have said in my previous posts, too bad that I can't monitor the whole performance of the rest of the honor students of my batch, especially my two fellow first honors! Here I go again, talking about competition. You can skip this part now if you want..LOL! Well, I'll just hope that I wouldn't get a grade below 96, so that I could achieve that 97-98% average I'm aiming! Please God, help me!

And oh! Speaking of the issues of the Philippines, there's this Quirino Grandstand Hostage Taking Incident, which was last August 23, 2010. Well, this was an unfortunate incident, since it has ruined the name of Philippines, and their friendship between China. Now there's this Facebook fanpage called "I hate Philippines", that received around 5, 211 likes. See? Now every country, including China and Hongkong of course, around the world hates us. I even saw a "Like" stating: "Shut the f*ck up, CNN. The Philippines is not the worst country to go to. How biased can you be?", then I thought, did CNN really say that?! That Philippines is the worst country to go to? Woah, and I always thought that when we're giving news to people, we should not be giving our own opinions. Yeah, it really hurts for Filipinos to have their place described as "the worst country to go to".

MISS PHILIPPINES VENUS RAJ DECLARED 4TH RUNNER UP FOR MISS UNIVERSE 2010
Well, on the other hand, our Miss Philippines, Venus Raj, was declared the 4th Runner Up for this year's Miss Universe! I congratulate her for being one of the top 5! Her answer during the Q & A portion became really popular, because of her "Major Major". But I wonder, why would they give it such a big deal? She just repeated the word "major", which would be an adjective for the word modified, which is "problem". It's the same as "very, very". And besides, it was kind'a unfair that she's asked a question that's too personal, unlike other contestants that their questions were about political and community issues. Oh well, at least she got that far, placing 4th runner-up! Imagine? Out of 83 candidates, she became one of the top 5? Woah! Now that's one thing that we should be proud of her, and our country!
