Do you know which song that lyric belongs? It's from Bruno Mars' song, entitled "The Lazy Song". If you want to watch it, here it is! :) I hope you'll enjoy it, 'cause I did. ;)
I really love the monkeys on the video. LOL. And I enjoyed this video very much and found it a bit funny. xD Then the song really describes every day of my summer. haha! It's like this song should have kept repeating everytime I wake up every morning this summer and weekends of school days. "Today I don't feel like doing anything, I just wanna lay in my bed .. ~" is what I say in my head most of the time whenever I wake up. Can you relate to this song too? :)
Off topic! For the first time of my summer I finally thought about our next school year and what it could bring me. I even thought about which college should I go to.
Well, for the next school year, I finally felt it coming because I thought about our Investigatory Project which we should've been working on this summer, the Student Body Organization meetings, Leadership Seminars, then thinking of these woke me up and enlightened me about the next school year and the so many responsibilities I'm going to have, whether it would be in school or at home, or maybe in the community (I hope).
Yep, these enlightened me, but at the same time these also made me paranoid, because thinking about 4th Year/Senior Year/Last year in High School would mean one more year till I'm going to be in college. But yes, I'm still not so sure which course I should be taking and where I should study. I thought of the consequences of each university choice of mine:
University of the Philippines (Los Baños or Diliman) - Still uncertain whether I'll be able to pass or not, then if I would, it would still be uncertain whether I'd be able to study there or not since my mother does not agree with me that much on that (studying there) because she's pretty much concerned with my safety and security there especially that I would be very far away from this place where I call home and that Manila is somewhat a cruel place to live in. But I want to study in that university because it's one of the best universities in the Philippines, and all over the world too, my father recommends it for me, and I want to be part of that institution. But, oh well, even though I won't be able to study there in college, I might as well study there for my Master's Degree (then adding up Atty. Dra., and PhD to my name) soon. ;) mwahaha! xD
Xavier University (Ateneo de Cagayan) - Sure, I would know a lot of people here, and yes, this is one of the best universities around in Cagayan de Oro, but still, outside this campus (and inside of the campus itself) would have so many people, criminals, jam-packed crowds outside, and it's simply not the right environment for me. The reason I want to study there is that there are a lot of former classmates and schoolmates I would know there and that I would feel more comfortable because I get to see them everyday in the campus, and my close friends are there too. :| And that this university is pretty much great too. But the environment is what I doubt, and it would also take me long to arrive at the university since traffic's everywhere and that I live far away from there. Oh well, let's see whether I get to study there or not. haha
Mindanao University of Science and Technology - Oh yes, hence from the name, this university is really good when it comes to science and technology. xD And that would also mean they're pretty good at teaching Information Technology. But one friend of mine told me that if people would take up I.T. there, they should know how to play DOTA (Defense Of The Ancients), and I freakin' NEVER want to play that game because it could be addicting to me, it would take me long to understand it fully since the game's for boys then I'm a girl and then again I could not relate that much, and I guess this wouldn't help me intellectually. But I don't know, maybe this is just a rumor, but what if it's true? xD I don't want to play DOTA .. trololol. But if I have too, then, oh well, I will, but I should be careful not to get addicted to it. hahah. One great thing about studying here would be that it's nearer to our house and that it is also very near to Limketkai Center, where everything I ever need (whether it's for school or my wants) is there, and that my mother also wants me to study in this university, and my father too. So .. let's just see where I'd be able to study.
I still got 1 year to decide which university and course I should take up!! :D And I should not regret whatever choice I'd make. God, please help me!
And speaking of God, do you agree that May 21, 2011 is His Judgement Day? Because I doubt whether it would really happen or not. They say that after that date, the world will never be the same again, we, the people left behind, would suffer greatly, then 5 months later, in October 21, 2011, would be the end of the world. You could read all about it here: http://www.ebiblefellowship.com/outreach/tracts/may21/
But I've come across this other site, and pretty much read ALL the comments, and they mostly said that only God knows when the end of the world will come, and not even Jesus knows when his second coming would be, and that even the Bible says we are uncertain when time will come and nobody knows for sure. If they're right, I would be relieved from those false predictions! hahah! I HOPE THEY'RE RIGHT. They should be. LOL. Geez, I should've read the Bible at all times. I will read the Bible from now on, especially on The Book of Revelation (because my mother says future predictions are there).
How about you? Do you believe that May 21, 2011 is the Judgement Day?
Off topic again! Back to my school topic, I guess I should worry for the next school year first rather than college, but it's also a good thing to start thinking for college too, right?
So, for next school year, I heard that there were already a lot of changes made in school, particularly the faculty. I heard that there are new teachers, new appointments/assignments of teachers, the assigned advisors, the schedules, the class programs, and maybe also the environment. I wouldn't know all of these yet for sure until I would be able to visit school upon enrollment or the SBO meeting and the leadership seminar, and the first day of school. xD These are just some rumors, but for the part about the teachers, they're true, but not yet finalized. Gosh, I'm so excited! hahah! I can't wait to see school again. LOL. Whatever the changes may be, I would still be eager to start a whole new school year!
Oh yes, I am feeling the school spirit already! waaah! I want to buy new stuff already! I want to buy school supplies, and maybe I'm going to start writing on a planner too! I want to be more organized from now on, and I also want to get creative -- oh, wait, I need a sketchbook for that! haha! So, maybe I'd buy a sketchbook too, I hope.
National Bookstore is going to be very, VERY crowded again especially now that school is coming near. It is possible to buy school supplies ahead, but we still don't know for sure our requirements for school, but then again, pen, pad paper, and a notebook are sure things to buy. xD It's just the colors of notebooks, their sizes, the colors of the folder, and whatnot that we need to be sure of before buying those.
Another off topic. I just want to ask you, how do you lose weight? It's just that I want to be slim like a lot of good-looking girls then I would also look good on fashion finds I usually see in malls. hahaha. Can you recommend some tips? LOL. I would want to lose weight before school time, so, yeah. Pretty pretty please? :)) Thank you so much! xD
And speaking of fashion finds, I found this cool cardigan at an online store on Facebook!
Isn't it chic? I want need to have this!! It goes with any sleeveless tops I could wear! haha! I want to have a body like that of the mannequin. LOL. How??
Then I also found this checkered polo from this online store!
Ever since this went in style, I became fond of tops like these! It's so casual, and I like it. xD I just wish I could tone down my arms so that this would really look good on me. LOL.
I keep on eying for items like this on online stores. ahaha! This is why I stay on Facebook for a long time now. xD
And again, speaking of fashion, I found funny videos about it by Fa-Fa-Fa Fashion! Here's one:
hahah! What do you think? Yes, I enjoyed this video, and I also learned a bit about skinny jeans too. :)) You might want to watch it if you want. :D Yep, through videos like these, "Tyra and her partner in fashion crime, André Leon Talley uncover the secrets behind today's most coveted must-have items."
Well, that's it for now! Till then! ;*

Don't be too uptight Van! you're thinking about school and college too much! Just enjoy it, come what may!
@Channie: Thanks Chan! :D
studying far from home can be really hard. i have blockmates in up who spend summer and one christmas here in manila. but it could really be an experience. you might want to consider both :)
i love the lazy song. it's the only bruno mars song that i like, punch me now. haha.
Hi there. :)
If you're thinking of applying for UP, the exam requires a lot of concentration, especially the reading comprehension parts. You know the UPCAT books? A lot of questions will reflect from that. Pretty sure you can handle it.
Hope this helps.
Love the cardigan you bought, btw.
I love Bruno's Lazy Song too! :) the whole monkey thing is just too funny. :) When I was in highschool, I kept stressing on how my life would turn out during college. Turns out nothing you expect will happen anyways so don't be worried too much. :)
the lazy song! is a bad influence. lol. just kidding. i love it. :))
well hope you'll end up passing with the school that you really want. anyway, some of the universities you mentioned seems way too far. i studied in batangas and i had a hard time dealing with it. i was far from home. :( it was never easy.
lol. I loved that vid! It's very entertaining. By the way, you should focus on making your senior moments memorable since it's the last one and I can assure you, you'll truly miss your highschool days once you get to college.
I remember during my senior year, I didn't study for any of the entrance exam tests but luckily, I was able to pass and enroll in the school I hoped for. :))
when i was in high school, i was really excited for college because I know i will have to experience the unusual things i do not experience with my parents. being independent something to be proud of. i thank my parents for they really want me to learn new things. I DID. it's fun. trust me! :)
..I agree those monkeys are funny cute..
I found out they are the "Poreotics"..they are quiet famous because they won 1st place for the 2009 HipHop Internationals.
just learned about them when I watched Bruno Mars' the lazy song.
Love this song from bruno mars!! and goodluck with college, it's definitely stressful thinking about those stuff. but you'll get by, at least you have a plan for yourself so what's left to do is wait :) i don't believe the world will end this month!! if it is, then ohmygoosshh, i'm not yet done living my life to the fullest :-/
I love this song! I can totally relate! HAHAHA
I've been thinking about college a lot, too :( I'm getting really stressed because I can't stop worrying. Hey, I'm from cdo, my family and I moved here from Manila when I was younger. I go to the XUHS! :D
Good luck to both of us!
Hahah the monkeys are sooo funny.
Being in the Senior year is fun and pretty important too for your next step to college. You have to enjoy it and learn from it at the same time.
UP Diliman is a good school. I guess there is so much freedom in UP that nobody would care what you wear and stuffs like that, which makes life easier.
Why don't you try the other 4 universities like ADMU, DLSU, UST? Manila is indeed far and not really that safe but once you get the hang of it, it isn't really that hard. Being separated with your family will be able to help you be independent.
Regarding the news about the Judgement Day, there were Americans in Manila giving out flyers about it. O.o I'm not really sure if it is true or not, but if it is, then so be it. SHit happens. Even if we don't like it, there's really no other choice. We're not gods.
Losing weight? I don't really need to lose much since it is pretty hard for me to gain weight. But my boyfriend got this diet where he eats vegetables only with rice. No meat :) And drinks lots of water. Not cold water because cold is a water retainer in our body. It is like our stomach is a working machine, put some cold water in it and it would stop or slows down.
don't be scared sis in choosing the right school for you :)) where ever you feel like your going to be comfortable just choose it :))
I love "The Lazy Song" too. Hahha! My cousin introduced that to me. I love the monkeys by the way.
I love The Lazy Song!! It's at this moment my favorite! (:
Also, I want thank you for your lovely comment on my blog and for stopping by in general, I really appreciate it!

Fashion craze <3! I love the cardigans too. You can wear any sleevless tops! :))
I'd go with the cardigan, the shirt is too much cowboy like :-)
Great Blog, http://www.thedollsfactory.com
Hi, I would just like to drop by and say I love your blog. You write well and nice. By the way, I like the videos you posted here. The Lazy Song(I love it from the first time I watched it) and the Fa-Fa-Fashion though I always wonder why Talley always had that black suite that looks like a toga when in fact he's a fashionist(my term). Fashion designers sometimes are really weird. haha.
