Day 5: Six songs that you’re addicted to. [and other random things to talk about]

Oh gosh! :D This [come-back] post is going to be long! :) Hey there everyone! How are you all doing? I'm very, very sorry for not updating my blog for so long! It's just that I didn't have any mood to blog. So, here I am! I finally got the mood, and I'm ready to tell you my story for my first days weeks of the year 2011!

So, that's it, for my 10-day Challenge post, i mean. :)

Next, I'm going to talk about the highlights for last week and the week that passed by.

January 3, 2011 - The first day of school for 2011 [not the School Year of 2011. ahaha! :DD]. This day was also the first time I was absent because my parents didn't let me go to school since it's raining very hard and continuously raining too. I was really in a bad mood at that time. Who wouldn't be in a bad mood if he/she knows he/she would miss a lot of activities and reminders for that day! Well, good thing I got a friend to remind me of activities they did on that day. That did keep me from being left behind from school activities. So, I would like to thank that friend of mine for that. :D

The next day after that, I was able to attend school, finally! :)

The remaining days of the week was fine, good things and bad things happened, although I did not really remember any bad things that happened, but I know they did happen. haha! :) I guess they're just little stuff that happened, that's why I forgot about them.

January 14, 2011 - My one of the best days of my school year supposedly, since I should've been one of those Metrobank-DepEd MTAP Math Challenge representatives! :'( Yes, those chosen representatives did win. I'm happy for them, but, there's this feeling that I want to be with them too, enjoying their glory. Yes, I was able to enjoy their glory too since they won for our school, but I'm the kind of person who's aim in life is to SHINE and to be RECOGNIZED by people for my achievements, and not just to go with the flow with other people just praising for people like that for those said good things [called achievements] they have done and, well, achieved. Oh, they're so lucky, if I was there, I'm going to feel very, very special, just like the feeling you get when you are worshiped for the good things you have and you have done. But there's nothing I can do about it, well, I actually have something to do about that, I should pray to God that I'd be one of those representatives next time. I really need that blessing to come to me. YES, it's a BLESSING. Believe me, you should aim for that too, for your school, so that they'd be proud of you. :)

January 15, 2011 - SATURDAY CLASSES! :D Oh yes, you read that right. We have Saturday classes now, because our Department of Education required schools to have at least 203 days of school in a School Year. Well, you know, this was also implemented in our school last school year, but there were a lot of complaints from parents and guardians, so, it was not pushed through. That's why I find it weird that this school year, there weren't a single complaint I have heard from parents and guardians this year for that matter, so, it was pushed through. It's WEIRD, really. Last school year, when my parents read about the "Saturday Classes", they were like, "Why do they have to implement that?! Weekends are supposed to be rest days for us!", but now, they were like, "Wow, that's great. We should not feel bad about that since it's for your own good." . Weeeiiiiirrrrd (o__O), right? LOL! I was happy that we have Saturday classes though, because afterwards, we could stroll around the mall and enjoy the half day freedom for the day! LMAO! Oh, another reason by the way that we have these Saturday classes is because the CEM (Center for Educational Measurement) Diagnostic Test is fast approaching and we have to prepare for it so that we could get better results, since our pre-test results last July weren't that good for most of us, so, yeah, we need to do better for this post-test!

By the way! I almost forgot to tell you about my results for the CEM (Center for Educational Measurement, Inc.) Diagnostic Test! Well, it's pretty much OK, I got a score of 726/800 (Excellent) in English, 479/800 (Average) in Mathematics, and 580/800 (Above Average) in Science!

Hmm .. I would also like to hear from you about your CEM Diagnostic Test results, if you did take this too. :)

Well, as what I have said, we could stroll around the mall after the Saturday class, and yes, I DID do that, with some friends of mine! ;) I saw a lot of schoolmates too at the mall we went! OH YES, I really enjoyed my time with those friends, too bad I didn't take much pictures. LOL. We took some pictures at a photo booth in the mall, but it's with that one friend of mine, so, yep, I could not show you yet. And too bad I didn't have a scanner to scan those pictures. My digital camera works fine too though, so, yeah, I think I should try using it to take a picture of them.

Here's a picture of me and Charizze. :D We're friends since 1st Year High School. It's been so long since we took a picture of us both. haha! You might be wondering how could that be possible! LOL. The reason's confidential, really. Seriously. -___-

I almost forgot! Our Juniors-Seniors Prom is fast approaching! :D And yes, I'm only excited for the gown, the makeover, and all, and ABSOLUTELY not for the partner. hahah! That's why during dance practices, which are held during PEHM time, I'm really not in a mood to join those, especially that boys I could be paired up with aren't really who I wanted. LOL. That's how unlucky I am in terms of being paired up. xD You know, I could be more than happy if I could be paired up with someone I like, and I know you all would too. :)

I found great gown designs already on the net! I just hope they're available here in our city, since we decided that we should rent the gown instead. It's cheaper than having to hire a seamstress to have the gown sewed for me. Well, actually, my father wanted to do the latter at first, but .. I guess he changed his mind.

Oh! Our theme for our prom by the way is "A Royal Night in Paris"! A cool theme, eh? :) I have a lot of gown designs in mind already, but I just had to hope they're available here in our city, as what I have said previously. xD

I'm going to wear earrings for the JS Prom too, but my it's been so long since I had put earrings on my ears now, so, I'm going to wear earrings tomorrow [maybe] so that my ears could get the hang of wearing earrings once again! :D

I saw some cool shoes at the mall too, but I bet there would be more great shoes the next time I go to the mall! :)

TODAY, we had our barangay's fiesta! ^^, I ate a lot of food, as expected. haha! :))

Day 3: Eight things that annoy you.

Remember the "10-day Challenge" I was talking about? Well, I kinda skipped it for a few days because of the new year posts, but here I am, back to continuing this challenge, and now I'm in Day 3: "Eight things that annoy you".

1. Annoying classmates asking me endless questions about our lesson.
2. Annoying cats meowing outside our yard.
3. People telling me what to do where in fact I already know what to do.
4. My siblings picking on me.
5. Being known for who I am not.
6. Noisy rock music.
7. Annoying rap songs.
8. .. and pretty much all that's annoying.

Updates today:

• I'm 1 inch taller now! YAY! Now I'm 5'1"! :D
• Tomorrow's the resume of classes for the year 2011, so, yeah, I should sleep early today and wake up early tomorrow.

1-1-11:: It's 2011 ..

..and I'm back with a new post! :D

Hey there everyone! I haven't been with you guys since last year! LOL. ahaha .. this joke I found on Tumblr still cracks me up until now. So, how have you been doing? Me, I'm doing fine, and I'm determined to start 2011 as happy and joyful as I can! I have been waiting for 2010 to end for 365 days [LOL], and viola! Here's 2011! And now it's goodbye to 2010 and HELLO TO 2011! Hurray! Here's a picture I uploaded on Facebook as a greeting to all my Facebook friends, and I'm thinkin', I should post the picture here too for you all blogger friends to see! So, yeah, here it is! :)

You might be asking what we did yesterday, I mean, a few hours ago from 12 midnight, as our new year celebration. Well, we just had a very simple celebration. We welcomed the new year by seeing the marvel of the fireworks, by playing basketball [a modified version of jumping when midnight strikes so that we'll grow taller . LOL], taking pictures of the fireworks, taking videos of them, and as for our Media Noche, we just ate ice cream. xD I don't know why, but it's not as grand as other's Media Noche, haha! But, we did eat a lot of food the time before that! :D

Alright, sorry for the low quality of the photos. I'm not an expert in photography yet, so, yeah. I hope you understand. If you want, you could give me tips on how to take pictures at nighttime! ahahaha!

Well, everyone kept asking each other recently what their new year's resolution would be for this year. If you ask me, here are my new year's resolution:

• STUDY HARDER. I'm not going to lose the honor roll challenge, am I? I say NO once again.
• LOSE WEIGHT. As you can see, I'm not really that fat, but I once had an ambition of becoming an amateur model [LOL], so, that means I want to be thinner, to be as thin as those models we usually see. ahaha! So thin, but not too much that I'd look like a malnourished person. I mean, I want to be healthily thin. LOL. I hope you get what I mean. This resolution could be similar to "getting fit".
• GROW TALLER. No one wants to remain short, right? I'm not going to accept remaining 5 feet tall for the remaining years of my life! :)
• BE A BETTER PERSON. Yes, this should be everyone's new year's resolution too, right? If we don't have the attitude, we could get no where in life. So, might as well improve our attitude, or change it for the better.
• BE MORE ATHLETIC. Yes, be more athletic. You know why this is included in my new year's resolution list? It's because I have observed that being athletic has been one of the keys to physical wellness. You might have observed that most athletes, or people who play sports, are healthy, and they also rarely get sick. For just so you know, I want to be like them, except that I don't want to grow big muscles like them. xD Well, that's one reason I didn't want to be that athletic in the first place. ahaha!

Oh well, GOOD LUCK TO ME in achieving these resolutions this year! I hope I could fulfill all of these! :D

You know, next Monday is already the resume of classes for the year 2011! And yeah, I'M VERY EXCITED! I get to see my schoolmates, teachers, and school authorities again! I get to see our school's beautiful surroundings! Then .. since it's already a few more weeks to go 'til the end of the school year, school is going to be very, very busy! January, February, and March, bring on the heat! ahaha! I'm ready to face the endless challenges that come my way for these busiest months of the school year! :) Please wish me luck, and may God bless us all! :D

Well, maybe I'm not going to update my blog that much anymore, but we'll see about that! :D
