Who Knows How To Dougie? xD

Hello everyone! Here I go again, naming a blog post after a song I had LSS recently! "Who knows how to dougie?" was the question I was thinking of at the moment, because of the song "Teach Me How To Dougie". hahah! Get it? 'Coz I wanna learn how to dougie and I want someone to teach me. LOL, I'm just kiddin'. xD But seriously, I wanna learn how to dance well, but I guess it's too late though, 'coz from the start I don't have the talent in dancing, so, yeah, nevermind about that.

See this hiphop dance? Cool, right? :))

And oh, this just taught me how to dougie. LOL

First of all, I would like to apologize for the extremely (lol, just exaggerating) lack of updates in my blog. It's just that I was SOOO BUSY in school that I had to manage everything related to it first before enjoying myself on the Internet.

So, last week, we had our orientation for the Guidance, Catechism, and the Library. Well, these are only from last Thursday, which, on this day, I learned a lot, like, I discovered that I'm a Visual-Auditory Learner, which means that I understand or learn better with what I see and hear. This is actually true, combining these two learner types on me because it could be applied on any situation I encounter. Like for example, when during discussions, I don't fully understand visual aids (or writings on the board) alone, and I also wouldn't understand wholly if there's only audio. So, in order for me to understand that well, there should always be visual AND audio stuff right there. Get what I mean? :D And yes, I am that different from the others. xD I guess that's why I do good in my lessons because both of those are always there in a class discussion. lol. And notes are VERY important to me; without them, I couldn't remember a thing on the discussion. LOLjk. I still can but only a few. And due to the fact that what's written AND discussed by the teacher would possibly come out on any test he/she gives, notes are ALWAYS handy! :))

And for Catechism, I'm looking forward to the retreat already! You know, that one activity that brings us batchmates all together, and to our Almighty God? Yes, the retreat's one of my most anticipated events for the school year! Even though having an overnight stay would be expensive, I just hope that it would push through. I'd love to know how it feels like to sleep with my classmates/schoolmates comfortably unlike camping. LOL. hahah!

And oh, for the Library, since every year the orientations are the same, afterwards when we had the quiz, it was pretty easy! And guess what? Almost all of us got perfect! hahah! The results were posted recently.

And last Friday, we had an orientation on Safety Issues and the Canteen, then afterwards it's the overall club elections! :D It was exciting though, and I was also nervous at the same time because, since I'm 4th Year already, high positions are expected on me. Turned out I was right. I was appointed as the President of Math Phobia Breakers' Society, A.K.A the Math Club, since I was the Vice President of the club before last year. You know, it is pretty hard being the President of a club like this, and not only clubs like these, but also other organizations which will involve officers. xD Being President, I have to face one of my biggest fears, which is public speaking. LOL, it was so awkward talking in front, presiding the nominations and elections, not knowing exactly what to say, being shy and all. xD How do I ever overcome this fear? Can you give me some tips? :O

But anyway, despite that disadvantage of me being President, I will do my best to change from shy, silent-type to the outgoing, loud-type of person! LOL. I hope that's possible! xD I was just wondering how I'll ever become just that within 10 months. ROFL.

Then again, I would like to thank God for giving me this challenge. I guess this is just a silent way of preparing me for something for the future? I'll just see about that.

And, last Saturday, June 11, 2011, was my blog's 2nd Birthday! :)) Well, I would just like to thank everyone who became part of my blogging life, and hurray for 117 Followers!! :D And thank you ate Pearl for inspiring me to blog in the first place! ^^, Without her blog, I wouldn't have been blogging now. LOL xD So, that's it for my blog birthday message! :) Thank you also to friends I've met here, and my stay in the blogging world was really worth it.

For this week, it was really hectic! X( From the first day of regular class, we already have assignments. Everyday, there are assignments I guess? Then here comes the SBO meeting, which, after that would be the making of the minutes and some other files like the Resolution which I was kinda confused on how to write it, but accomplished it anyway ;) . Then here's this action plan I had to make for the Math Club, which was kinda challenging to make since I had to think of great objectives for it to be approved. xD And oh, another thing that takes up my time would be researching for the Investigatory Project, and I had to find a great one so that PHP 20,000.00 will come to me , I mean, along with my group members of course. LOL. But actually, that money is only for the making of the Investigatory Project, but if there's some allowance, BIG allowance, I would be so happy! Finally I could add some money to my savings and use it to buy some needs or wants. Gosh, PHP 20,000.00 is a great big motivation for me to ace our Investigatory Project! :))

Last but not the least, I would talk about today! Well, today has some good AND bad happenings.

For the good, I was appointed by our school publication moderator as the Editor-in-Chief, since I was the Associate Editor last school year (but to tell you honestly, I didn't know that until the school newspapers were up. LOL). This would really be a great experience for me, and a great way to develop my talent in writing, as I do love doing just that! Imagine? Leading a staff with doing what I love? That's pretty cool. :)) I'm so thankful to that teacher of mine who appointed me, and to God too, for the opportunity He gave! I hope I could do my best to manage the school publication well. xD I will try to contribute a lot of articles this time! :D

For the bad, I missed a lot on the ONCE IN A LIFETIME moment which is called the Bayan Mo iPatrol Mo. I didn't have any souvenir from that event. I wasn't able to be in my friends' pictures (which I would've wanted to be one form of remembrance for the event). The reason for missing that once in a lifetime opportunity was because of the RAIN, or STORM would be the appropriate term. See what the storm did to my day?? Mother Nature, how cruel can you be? :'( Honestly, I hadn't been utterly cruel to her, or at least I don't remember. I missed one of the most important events for the school year! I would've made a difference or something. LOLjk. Seriously, it was an important event to attend to because it would've been the first article I could ever write on the school paper! gaaaaaaaah !! I know, I could assign another staff member of mine to write the article, but believing in my own capabilities myself, and because of what my teacher told me about taking charge of the event, I know that I could've been the one who would've written the article. Or just asking my classmates about what happened or reading articles from the Internet? It would never be the same as witnessing the event myself and write what I thought! Going back to the BMPM, oh well, at least I was able to register, but the only problem was that I wasn't able to complete the form. I hope it was validated though, 'coz I still had another form of person-identifier-thingy-or-whatever-you-call-it, which is the signature. xDD And being registered is very important to me as well, because being part of the student government, it is required since we decided to make it as our initial project for the school year. If it gets validated, HURRAY, if not, oh well %^$%^#$ the universe!

Well, that's it for now! Enjoy the dougie! LOL! xD

Till here :*

Oh School

Hello everyone! This is going to be just a quick recap on the first 2 days of school, 'coz I don't really have sufficient time to blog a long post right now. xD

June 6, 2011 (Monday) - Usually when it's the first day of school, I wake up way too early, and this was also the case yesterday. hahah! I, together with my sister, woke up at around 4:30am, so, to kill a little bit of time, we watched TV, while doing our early-morning chores of course! Then, we also had a bit of chit-chatting about random stuff with our brother. It was great, early in the morning I was in a good mood! :)

But then here's the time when we're getting ready for school; I had a hard time choosing to wear uniform or civilian attire. Our SBO moderator told us officers to wear uniform because we'll lead the flag ceremony, but due to the bad mood I was in last Sunday (which is the day before yesterday), I completely forgot to clean my uniform up and get it ready for the next day. My uniform was clean, but there's just a noticeable stain on it. :(( So, I was kinda hesitant to wear it. So I wore my civilian attire. But that was one decision I regretted. All the SBO officers, well, except one, wore uniforms. Turned out I should've worn my uniform even though it isn't quite ready to wear. And it also turned out that we're just going to have a half-day class session, and it wouldn't have been embarrassing at all to wear uniform after all. :'( I guess it taught me a lesson. Good thing I wasn't reprimanded.

On a lighter note, I love the section I belong to for the school year! Turned out it was true that honor students will be merged in one section, and I'm so happy that my expected classmates were there. ahaha! And speaking of the seating arrangement, I'm so happy that I was assigned to be seated at the front, because I could still see clearly the writings on the board no matter what. haha! And then, my seatmates are okay too, they weren't that bad. xD They aren't honor students, so I guess they are assigned to be seated beside me for a reason. LOL. I don't know if you know it already. If I'm not too occupied with a lot of work (especially as the SBO Secretary or any other affiliation I'll ever have soon. And this free-time may be quite of little possibility LOL), I might as well try to help them. hahah! But I do hope that I wouldn't be the only one to be asked help from, since there are quite a lot of honor students in our section.

And as for my office positions in clubs, I was the Vice President of Math Club, Auditor for Science Club, Secretary for English Club, and Auditor for T.H.E (Technology and Homeroom Economics) Club. These are just a few compared to the others, but I try not to lose hope. There are still a lot more elections to come! haha! :))

And oh, I love the subjects we're going to have!! :D We'll have Chemistry, Filipino and English as usual, then the new subjects would be Calculus and Analytic Geometry, Ekonomiks (An Araling Panlipunan subject), El Filibusterismo (a part of the Filipino subject), Buhawi Magazines (this is for Physical Education, Health, and Music by the way) which would be annually subscribed, Research Methods and Thesis Writing, Developing Useful Computer Applications, High School Science Today for the 4th year xD, and one of my most anticipated subjects I'd love to learn from, Entrepreneurship and Business Technology! Woah, looks like we are already going to get really prepared for college and life this time! hahah! And I'm lovin' it of course! ;) I quite expected Accountancy to be one of my subjects, but there's no such subject for it this time, maybe because it's going to be merged with Entrepreneurship and Business Technology.

And yes, there are a lot of new teachers too! I have something to adjust to finally. Then this time we also have two (2) assistant principals, and I think that's really cool. :))

That time I realized that my 4th Year is way more different from the previous high school years I had been through. Yes, a different section is one, because for 3 high school years I belonged to the Einstein section, but for this last year, I belong to Darwin! I also feel way more different too, since my classmates are a whole lot different from my previous classmates way back, I mean, they weren't the usual classmates I had before. xD Then, for the books, I noticed that they have fewer pages than my previous school years' books, and I quite like it though, since those books have more brevity and specificity perhaps? Then, for the pressure, I quite expect that I'll be a very busy bee this time and everyone will expect high from me, and you know, I'm starting to open my eyes to it already. xD And, to think of it, we are also pushed to be good role models to the younger years, and there are a lot of them! hahah! I better be the best 4th Year student that I can be! *fingerscrossed*

June 7, 2011 (Tuesday) - Well, this day started pretty bad. There was BROWNOUT and undesired RAIN, which are two factors that hinder me to go to school! I was still able to take a bath though despite the short supply of water, but I wasn't able to eat anything because the bread was cold and there's no electricity to make it hot. So, I ended up going to school late, and supposedly, I wasn't really allowed to go to school anymore by the request of my parents, but my mother gave in. I was so thankful that she let me go to school despite being very late (and attendance was checked too), because there were important matters discussed, and we also had an activity! Gosh, if I was absent, I would've missed a lot! The first half of the morning alone which I haven't attended, there were already a lot of writings on the board, but I understood what they're about though, I kinda know the background already. Then, on the later part of the morning, the rain stopped and the sun was already shining brightly! In short, it was already a good weather. Yes I'm glad, due to the fact that I wouldn't be picked up this time even though there was rain. xD

WOW. This post turned out to be long! LOL! :D
