Stressed. Worried. What's going on?!

OK. These past few days hadn't really been great for me. There so much school work, bad happenings, and a lot others.

Starting last July 18, 2011, it was supposedly going to be a happy day for all of us family members since it's my brother's birthday, but it turned out to be the opposite. I LOST MY SAMSUNG M3510 PHONE. Oh that memorable phone I got as a congratulatory gift for being First Honor when I was 2nd Year HS. I don't know why, but it only took me a day and a half to recover. (o_O) Still, I missed it so much, only that I moved on.
In memory of my Samsung M3510.

BUT! I still got a new phone, which I bought the weekend after (July 23, 2011)! :) It's the cheaper MyPhone QP29 Duo, a phone made in the Philippines, but then again, it wasn't really that obvious since features were just as great as those of Nokia's and Samsung's. :)) And so far it was the first phone that got me satisfied to the optimum level with its sound quality, and the price too. LOL ^^, It just costs around PHP 2590 (Excluding the memory card. wahaha :P Which costs around PHP 350.), and you wouldn't expect a "low" price on a phone with features such as the ones stated here. So, yeah, I recommend this phone to you. :D

Here's the picture:
See? This kind of phone? In Nokia it would probably cost PHP 7000 to 14000 (not sure with this price range). A really big difference, right? :D

Well, I've been using this for more than a week now and I'm satisfied with it, although I got to admit I'd love to add Pinoy Content to it, which wasn't readily available on my phone, and that's one disadvantage. But overall it's great, I was pretty ignorant with the touchpad thingy since it was the first time I used such. hahah! This phone truly proved to me that the Philippines also has great potential in manufacturing "just-as-great" phones. :))

LOL. What a review. xD

Back to the "bad week", I hadn't been living up my expectations (very high grades, satisfactory performance, dealing well with clubs I preside, etc.) in school.

Yes, my grades were still "fairly" high, but not as high as they're supposed to be so that I could reach the top of the honors' list.

Yes, my performance is satisfactory, but still it wasn't what I expected it to be, I mean, it wasn't that great. I don't know why, but I feel that I need to develop myself more and more, only that it seemed very hard for me. Like for example, ORAL RECITATIONS. Everyone, well except for me, excels in it. I hate this stuttering mouth I have, which stops me from speaking so well when I'm nervous (and also when I'm not), and yeah, this makes my nervousness pretty obvious. How do I stop being nervous?! Oral recitations are more to come, and I don't want any more awkward stuttering moments to come too since I'm after of a good grade in this part of the grading system. Oh come on! it's freakin' 20 or 30% (?) of the grading system! Lord, please help me. This is the ONLY way I could ace my subjects (particularly Filipino which makes my nose bleed as well -- not literally) for now since I'm already good with quizzes (well, not really in Filipino), seatworks, and activities.

Then, in dealing with clubs I preside, particularly the Math Club, I feel that I'm no good at influencing people that much. Although many say that "Leadership is a skill and it can be learned." still, the fact that I don't have great potential worries me. I wanna be like my father who's really good at influencing others. Why, o why couldn't I inherit that skill instead?! It gets me thinking by the moment, "How was I raised to be the person who I am now exactly?" or "Why am I not the person I expect myself to be?".

And oh, about the Investigatory Project, we already had our defense for our proposal. Turned out that there were a lot of errors in our Procedure (yikes!), but it's all well now. I already fixed it, but still it's lacking on how to make our own E. Coli specimen, which I'll ask my advisers on that.

In Entrepreneurship, we had started making our Business Proposal already. Again, this had a lot of corrections, but I already edited it. I'm just waiting for my friend (and also a co-member of our group) to finish her assigned part of editing.

You know, I'm joining the regional ROTARACT Quiz Bowl! :D Yipee! I'm so excited, and I'm looking forward to our review next week. Our quiz bowl would be this coming August 13. ;) I really need to know what I should do to win. I haven't won an interschool contest before, and I want this to be the first that I'll win.

Yesterday was our Joint GPTCA/SBO Induction of Officers, and we wore uniform t-shirts! :D I love it 'coz it's black and it has cool fabric, but the only disadvantage was that mine wasn't printed correctly, but it's all fixed now. Our university president loved our t-shirts, and he thought we were the choir. haha! Of course, he meant that as a complement, and that made me, and maybe might as well my fellow SBO officers, proud who they are at the moment. And yes, this was also the day that I'm formally the SBO Secretary. After the Induction was the Acquaintance Party, and there were a lot of food. LOL. I ate empanada and bihon, and they were delicious.

And oh! The morning of yesterday was our Cooking Contest, which I was assigned in the beverage section. Here are some pics. Sorry for the quality since I took it with my phone.

I got lazy at editing. hahaha! So, my apologies.

Our main ingredients were seashells, ground chicken, banana, avocado, watermelon, orange, and apple. They're all delicious. :))

And before I end this post, if you have time, please visit our Business website at Love in a Box. :D It's still under construction for now.

Well, that's it for now, thanks for reading and viewing! :D

I need a digital camera for my birthday or on Christmas. Pretty please? :)

I Apologize

...for not updating my blog for so long again.

Oh hi everyone! Did anything interesting happen in your life recently? If you ask me, I guess there isn't anything interesting at all, or does school work happening in my life interest you? xD Well, I remember something that I'm grateful for! Thank you so much to those who became fans and "Hyped" my looks on Lookbook! Now I'm encouraged to post more! Care to "Fan" or "Hype" my looks on Lookbook too? Click here for my page.

I'm glad that I was finally able to find time to write something on my blog! I have a lot of great plans for this blog actually, like giving it a new name or theme, post many things like my random blahs, and many more. Looks like I had finally started on these, right? You may have noticed my new header, to those who aren't new here. And to those who are new to browsing around here, do you like my header? I'd appreciate all of your feedbacks.

School had been pressuring me as always, even now that I'm on my Senior Year high school, that I'm the Math Club President, SBO Secretary, and whatnot. xD

And you know what's the disadvantage of me being a president? The members would leave most of the decisions to me. -__- And being a person who'd always respect others' opinions, I certainly wouldn't like it if they get lazy sharing their opinions and just leave the rest to me. But oh well, that's how it is.

And oh, because I had been very busy preparing for the exams, studying for the reviews, typing and printing a lot of stuff, I had neglected an activity we agreed among Math Club members which is the Weekly Puzzle, and which was supposed to have started last first week of this month. And you know what? It's the 3rd week already and we haven't worked on it yet. I know, should I blame myself? What should I do?

So, on a lighter note, last week was our First Prelim Examinations, and I did quite OK, could've done better. A bit confusing as usual. And it plays with my memory. haha! If I try to evaluate my performance on every subject, here it goes:

Values Education - I really do hope there shouldn't have been right or wrong answers. LOL

English - Even though I write well with this language, I still find tests on this subject kinda confusing, maybe because I don't really pay attention to which part of speech a word belongs, those pronouns and whatnot. xD But still I did quite OK. I should only get a few mistakes.

Chemistry - This was pretty easy! hahah! I only got confused on the dialysis and osmosis thingy, but when I searched the Internet turned out I answered correctly, I hope. :))

Araling Panlipunan (Social Studies) - Another easy exam. hahah! As always! But I was just confused on identifying whether the economic contribution of the Americans which is the Parity Rights is positive or not. Well, I thought it's positive because it's the Filipinos' way of repaying the Americans of what they've done for them which is to save them from the Spaniards, and Americans contributed a lot too for the development of our country, so, yeah. That's why I thought it's positive. I hope it would be considered right, because I justified it very well on the test. LOL. It seemed like I was too defensive on my answer. waaah. How about you? What do you think? Is Parity Rights a positive contribution of the Americans to the Filipinos? :)) I'd love to hear from you.

Research - The easiest of all! hahaha! Enough said? xD Well, it was easy because the terms were easy to remember and the questions are found on the book, which I studied very hard for. I thank my teacher for making it so easy!

Advanced Algebra - It was easy because I remembered the formulas, only that I thought my calculator kept fooling me. hahahah! I know, a weird accusation on an intelligent device? (o.O) Because when I hit the buttons on my calculator (I don't know if I have hit the right buttons though), and hit "=", it shows an unbelievable or uncertain answer that got me confused. I hope I'd still get a high score though.

Computer - This exam was easy because I studied every coverage of it from the start, and I memorized a lot too, especially on the Use Case Description part where you can find Basic, Alternate, and Exception flows, which you may not understand unless I explain them to you but I know you wouldn't care, so yeah. xDD haha!

Filipino - The exam that got me paranoid. Paranoid because each item was 2 points each and if I get a lot of mistakes on it then my score would be didacted double! I really hope I won't get a low score. Please Lord, I don't want to score below 50 out of 60 on the exam. :'(

Physics - I was bold enough to take this exam next, because I was given an option to take this or Entrepreneurship. hahah! But yeah I chose this. This was again easy, multiple choice questions confuse me as usual (LOL), and the problem solving part is A-OKAY! :))

Entrepreneurship - The exam I took last. hahah! I enjoyed taking this exam though, because we were asked to do some designing! weeee ~ And the questions were also easy, then I remembered a lot for the enumeration. :D

Off topic! ^^, I was browsing through online shops so that I could learn how online selling works, but then I found these must-haves! xD
Polo Love ~ :)) From Glam Rosa Cdo OpenforBiz

Sandals and Shoes :D From Accessories and Watermelon CO,

 ... and Vanj Footwear

Domo Kun Madness ~ :D From Paponei's Gift Shop

These finds make me drool. hahah! :)) I wanna buy them! Especially the Domos!

And speaking of online shops, as our project for Entrepreneurship, I had been coordinating with my groupmates, A.K.A my friends in putting up our own online business. :D Here's our website which is still under construction: Love in a Box ~

I wanna make a theme for our website though, but I'm still trying to figure out how to make one in Multiply. xD Anyway the deadline for the website would still be next week, and for me it would take a maximum of 1 week to finish making a website, but actually I assigned my co-member to make the design. :D I'm just finding a way to help her. ^^,

You know, it had actually been a bad weekend for me after finding out that my digital camera's lens is broken, and I am still uncertain whether it would be repaired or we'll have to buy a new one. I hope for the best for the digital camera.

Well, that's it for now! I guess I'll be posting looks on Lookbook if my camera's fixed, and I'll be updating this blog once in a while.

Till here :*

Written in the Stars

..a million miles away, a message to the main.

Seasons come and go, but I will never change. I'm on my way .. ~ :))
Hello there everyone! How are you all doing? Me, I'm doing good. Finally I found a time to update this blog, although I think this is going to be just a short update, but who knows? Maybe this will turn out to be a long post, again! haha! I missed you guys so much! :D

The title, and this blog post's introduction's from the song, Written in the Stars by Tinie Tempah ft. Eric Turner, and you can listen to it here:

Well, all I can say about the days, or weeks rather that I wasn't here in the blogging world, is that not a single day was free anymore for me. You know why? Every day there are assignments from subjects, and from the clubs I lead too. Ironically I haven't even done writing the waiver I'm assigned to do yet because of lack of ideas, then again because all I think about is the Investigatory Project Proposal defense, and also that business we're going to have in Entrepreneurship! They're being hard on me, I'll tell you .. but I guess I'm just exaggerating! hahah! But yeah, what a start of senior year, I didn't expect it to be pressuring me as early as these first 4 weeks. xD

Anyway, I also find some days a bit weird, as I don't expect a day to have both bad luck and good luck. haha! Just like the day started great, then in the middle part becomes bad, and when it's ending it becomes great again. It's like a twist of luck. LOL. Or maybe I'm just paying too much attention to what's happening around me.

I've really got a lot to share, but I'll try to summarize it as well as I could so that you wouldn't get bored in reading my post. xD

Here's what I made for Father's Day which was last June 19:

Then here's what I wore on that day:

Please HYPE! haha :D That is, if you'd want to "hype" it. :)) So, HYPE as you please.

Then, here's what I wore today:

Care to HYPE this too? I'd really appreciate it if you would. haha! :)) Thank you so much.

I'm sorry for these photos' qualities. I'll remember to charge my digital camera battery next time. LOL. So, yeah, I was serious about putting something on Lookbook. hahah! What do you think?

And, for the Investigatory Project, I chose:

COMPARISON OF HERBS AND SPICES’ [Allium sativum (GARLIC), Allium cepa (ONION), Capsicum annum (RED CHILI PEPPERS), Syzygium aromaticum (CLOVES)] EFFECTIVENESS IN FIGHTING ESCHERICHIA COLI BACTERIA

hahaha! I copy-pasted it from Microsoft Word, that's why the font's that big, and that explains the Century Gothic font too. Well, about this Investigatory Project, I'm glad the days I spent in making my Powerpoint presentation paid off, since my teacher told us that it was overall "nice", and there are just some minor suggestions on it. And, I'm also finally done with the hard copy that's due on Monday. I hope I could apply the recommendations that's soon to come for this IP.

Speaking of Monday, I need to be early in school on that day, and I mean veryyyy early. xD It's because I'm going to be one of the recognized people for the mass, which is going to be held at a church near us. Honestly, I'm not that religious, but I am eager to learn more about our religion through these ways (participating in mass and a lot others). And I feel that I need to be closer to God this time, as I need His guidance for the next moments to come in my life, especially in school.

Okay, so, suddenly I ran out of topics to "type" about. haha! That's it for now. Thanks for reading and viewing this blog post. :D

Till here :*
