Breathe Slow

Hello everyone! How are you all doing? Me, I'm doing fine now~! I'm feeling better from what I had been through last week!

So, welcome back, Take a Deep Breath! :D I'll never leave you again, well, I could still leave my blog from Mondays to Fridays because of school work, but I'll try my best to update it on weekends! Too bad this new school learning system of ours gives us NO FREE TIME on weekdays to do some stuff other than RESEARCH and whatnot! Yep, I CAN use the Internet during weekdays, but only for research, and a little Facebooking!

hahah..yeah, some blogging friends of mine who are also my friends on Facebook catch me online even during weekdays! LOL..I remember the time when I was supposed to be studying for an exam (I think) and I was online on FB, then here comes Kuya Jose (http://jigzmoreinfo.blogspot.com/) saying "wow online", or something like that..haha..After him sending me that message on chat, I replied that I would not be staying long on Facebook and that I'd be logging out after some time. I actually said, "madali lng to" or something like that. Hayy..this is how much I'm addicted to Facebook! It's like I could not live a week without opening it! Well, I could live for a day or two without opening Facebook. I had actually tried it, when I was sick for two days and I was too weak to go to my laptop and open my accounts. So, yeah.

By the way, I have a new middle initial! As of July 14, 2010, my middle initial would be, err, should I tell or not? hmm..I guess I should not tell you, since you know, there are identity thiefs around on the Internet, and I had already given you my lastname (if you don't know my lastname, GOOD..haha.. :P). So, yeah. You know why I have this new middle initial? It's because on that day, my parents had just gotten our birth certificate in the National Statistics Office (NSO), and they found out that mine and my sibling's middle initial we're using, and might as well our mother's, was wrong, and we have to change it from this to that. Great, that old middle initial I used is already on the national records, like my personal info for the National Achievement Test, the OLSAT, and a lot others. *sigh* I guess that's okay, even though my name's going to be very complicated already when it comes to national tests. Should I use the old one or the new one? hmm..

And, another thing! As of July 27, 2010, Adobe Photoshop 7.0 has been with me ever since! I am so happy that I could thank those who are involved of its installation many times! Here's my first work in Adobe Photoshop!

Click the image for a bigger view! :)

So, what do you think? :D

You know, it's good that there are a lot of great things that happened this week! They made me forget a bit the bad things that happened last week!

And another thing, because I was too upset last week, I completely forgot to tell you about my younger brother's 13th birthday last July 18, 2010! So, you can extend your belated greetings to him now~! We were supposed to be going to a nearby resort for his birthday, but it wasn't pushed through since we're already suffering from heavy colds and coughs. Instead, we ate Goldilocks for his birthday, and our neighbor also cooked us delicious Bam-e, and a weird (for me, i guess) cuisine, Chicken feet! And gosh! I didn't push through in eating that chicken feet! hahah..it just looks oh-so, weird! Tell me, have you tried eating Chicken feet? haha..a once in a lifetime experience for me, since I would never eat that kind of food ever again! LOL!

Here's another great news this week! Testpapers are up, and you know what that means? We get to know our exam results! Yay! And you know what I did get? For Values Education, I got 47/50, Advanced Algebra, err, an oh-so-low-for-me 55/70, Araling Panlipunan, 60/60, Physics, 48/50, and Research, 50/50~! Yay! I got high scores, especially in Araling Panlipunan and Research which are perfect! Cool! But I really worry about Advanced Algebra. I have no idea why I got that low-for-me score. Maybe because I was already sick at that time. But no wonder I still got perfect on Research, even though I was also sick when I took the test! But at least, it's great that I only got 15 mistakes in Advanced Algebra instead of failing because of my sickness. Well, I'm so excited to know my scores in other exams! Hurray! Now I worry for my Filipino exam, since I'm not so sure with what I answered on the kasalungat part, because actually, I studied the kahulugan (synonym), and not the kasalungat (antonym), since our teacher also said that we just had to find the synonym of the words he has given. *sigh* I guess it's also my fault, since I already saw that in the book, we're going to find the antonyms of the words but still I came to find the synonyms. I'll just hope for the best! Also for other subjects which I hadn't known my score yet! Too bad though, I wasn't able to review well on the special exams I took because it's time-pressured, I mean, only 30 minutes (or less) instead of 1 hour is given to me to take the exam. Well, once again, I hope I could get high scores, 96% above would be great!

And about my so-called "crush", he said "Hi!" to me 3 times yesterday! Woah, what a dreamy experience! LOL! He said, "Hi Van!"! Aww! Kilig! hahaha..

Oh! Yesterday also, we had our Nutrition Month Culminating Activity! We had some poster/slogan making contests, and a Cook-fest on the culminating day! Me and our class section didn't win anything though. Well, better luck next time, and congratulations to those who won! :)

And by the way, are you wondering about the blog post title? It's a song by Alesha Dixon, Breathe Slow! You can hear it here! It's a great song!

"Can't forget to breathe slow
Count from one to ten
With my eyes closed
'cos ladies take it in
And get comp- oh oh oh 'sure
Before i lose it get comp- oh oh oh 'sure"
Well, that's it for now! Thanks for reading, and viewing! :D

I gotta do some bloghopping now! Gosh! I lost a lot of blog views! (O.o) I gotta make it up to it!

EDIT: I got tagged by sis Aryan! Thanks so much sis! :D

Rules are you answer 8 questions and then make 8 questions for people to answer ayt? So here are sis Aryan's questions, and my answers:

1. If you can bring a dead person to life, who would you want it to be?
--Oh, this is scary..haha..I guess I'd bring my grandparents (in my father's side) to life, so that I could meet them, know how good my grandmother could be in sewing and cooking, and how my grandfather could be good at disciplining, and all.

2. What's your favorite lyric, from what song and why?
--For now, my favorite lyric would be,
"Maybe we're friends, maybe we're more, maybe it's just my imagination
But I see you stare just a little too long
And it makes me start to wonder
So baby, call me crazy, but I think you feel it too
Maybe I, maybe I, just gotta get next to you"
Because I could simply relate to it! hahah...and the singer, Jordin Sparks, sings it well! And they're also lyrics from a song I'm currently addicted to now, Next to You by Jordin Sparks. :)

3. What was your best night-dream ever?
--Oh my, I couldn't answer this question..haha..because I never remember my dreams, as in never! LOL, if I do remember, it would be such a blurr, and not that good. (O.o)

4. Would you consider abortion if one day you wake up and you find you are pregnant and you don't know whose it is?
--OMG! I never really know a sure answer to these kinds of questions. I've been considering thoughts like, if I'd consider abortion, I would become a murderer, and if I won't, raising a baby in the womb would be oh so tiring and would involve a lot of sacrifices, and I think I won't be ready with those. So, yeah, I don't really know a sure answer to this, but I'd answer that I won't consider abortion, simply because I don't want to become a murderer. Gosh, I hope this situation wouldn't come to me! I don't want to become pregnant like that!

5. Who would you be if you could be anybody?
--I want to be the smartest person on Earth! haha...just to know how it feels like to be one. Yeah, I'm smart, and the smartest in class, but not on Earth, so, yeah..LOL. :D You know, being very smart, when you can invent cool stuff, and be admired by many because of our intelligence. But you know what the problem is when you're the smartest, in class particularly? Classmates would repeatedly ask us questions about the lesson and be dependent on us, and we'll end up not finishing our work, and that's what I hate the most in school! Easy for some people to say, to "Share your knowledge.". Obviously, they hadn't experienced what I had experienced, being repeatedly and annoyingly asked by my classmates about the lesson, my classmates being lazy by not reading their textbooks and ask me instead, and many others! But wishing about not being the smartest never came to me. I love being smart, because I could help people a lot, and we could also make decisions well, and I thank God for giving me this much wisdom and talent! :)

6. What's your biggest regret?
--When I had written something on my blog that had hurt somebody. :(

7. The end of the world is tomorrow, what would you do?
--Nothing? Joke! haha..well, I'll laugh and enjoy life to the fullest, and discover as many things as I can. And I would also forgive everyone who has done wrong to me, and would also ask God and the other people involved for forgiveness of all the sins that I have committed so that I'd go to Heaven.

8. Would you make peace with your worst enemy?
YES! Of course I will! War, or fights rather, are such unpleasant sights to see, and I don't want it to happen between me and that worst enemy. We are here on Earth to make peace, not war. :)

Here are my questions:

1. Are looks important? Why?
2. What are your plans for the future?
3. Have you ever been in love? How does it feel like?
4. What are your special talents?
5. What's your favorite song for the moment, and why?
6. What had hurt you the most?
7. Recall the best memory you have.
8. Are you loving your life right now? Why?

Now I'm tagging everyone who wants to answer these! :D

Well, that's it for now! Hope you'd grab the tag, and please tell me about it too so that I could read your answers! :)

MY BLOG, TEMPORARILY CLOSED

So, yeah, I decided to close my blog for a moment, because I can't find any free time anymore due to the usual reasons like school and lack of inspiration. Please forgive me for this.

For just so you know, I'm currently facing a big problem right now, and I prefer not to tell you about it.

GOD, I really need Your help! Sounds like I couldn't face this problem all alone. I have trust in You oh Lord, and I guess I'll just leave the rest to You. I accept any outcome that would come out, because I know that the things that You take place have purposes, and it would all be resolved in the end, right?

Please, help me God! I don't want this thought to haunt me in my entire life!

I apologize to everyone involved in my wrong doings in my blog. Once again, I'm very, very sorry. I hope I wouldn't do it again.

For just so you know, I'm feeling dizzy while writing this post, so, I guess I should stop writing it now and say goodbye to you!

That's it for now. Take care and God bless.

GOODBYE! I'll leave this blog from now on.

Sorry, I Can't be, Perfect

Hey there everyone! How are you all doing? Me, I'm doing fine, well, not as fine as I have always been, because I am currently suffering from a heavy cough, and for the past few days I caught fever.

I'm so sorry for not updating my blog for almost two (2) weeks, it's just that I'm very busy nowadays because of all the school work, and we also had our first preliminary exams.

I'll just tell you some highlights when I was gone in the blogging world.

July 15, 2010 was a date to remember! You know why? It's my first time in my teenage life to experience such fun, because it was my first time when I was so happy taking pictures with my friends, especially with my new friend, Anthea! One kilig part is that me and that certain crush were taken a pic! Oh, the good times! You might think that I'm such a loner because as what most of you have known, I'm already 14 years old, and going 15 this year, and yeah, I had just experience this much fun now. But at least, I experienced it before I'd end my high school life!

Here are some pictures!

Before going to Carmelite. We went to Carmelite Monastery by the way.

Aww~! I love seeing those smiles!

Me and my new friend, Anthea, or she's called by many by her nickname, Jacq! :) Thank you for giving me such a wonderful day to remember! :D

I'm not going to post that picture where me and that so-called crush are beside each other. It's too embarrassing. LOL!

Let's proceed to this week! All we had were reviews for the exams, and the exams themselves! The exams were okay, I missed one day of the exam because as what I have said, I got fever, and you know, it's like I didn't have the strength to get up anymore. I was lying down in bed the whole time, and only got up whenever we'd have breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Great. Now my "Mission-Perfect-Attendance" is unachievable this school year. Tsk. Well, it's okay, I could still cope up.

I guess I have to study for my special test next week! Gosh! It's going to be a hassle asking for the blue slip, letting teachers sign the excuse letter, then ask for the green slip. haay.. (O.o)

So, today, or yesterday rather (but wasn't able to reply to her message on that day because I didn't get the chance to use Facebook at that time), I had a misunderstanding with someone, and I'm not mentioning names, she knows who she is when she reads this post. This post is intended for her to read on. I'm sorry if I can't write the exact words I had wrote that had hurt her.

Remember what I wrote about my thought that that certain someone doesn't like me? When she commented something about the Glee Club auditions and all? That I was hit by the comment, that one part of me appreciated what she said, but also, another part, SMALL part of me, the evil part, wanted to tell her to STFU and keep that comment to herself? If you do, then good, because I deleted that part already on the previous post of my previous post, so that the situation would not worsen.

Well, I actually mentioned something about me posting a status about joining the Glee Club, that many pushed me to join, and one commentator, which was her, commented, quoting what I said that we should join Glee Club so that we could get 100% in PEHM and have an award during the Special Awards Day, then said something about me only wanting to join the club for the grades and not with all my heart that I wanted to join, which, I have to admit, that what she said was half-true, that's why I was hit by it.

I then replied that what she said isn't ENTIRELY true, because I also wanted to join Glee Club because my close friends are there, and I want to experience the fun they have.

And what else? Yeah, I thought that it's clear that she doesn't like me, (and I found out that hate is such a strong word to use in such), simply because she comments some things that kind'a hints it, like she may comment on my statuses about like, hate, or something like that. And you know, she doesn't let me join in her conversations with her friends and all, and that kind'a hurts me.

Well, I think that's it, you-know-who-you-are, comment all you want. I have done my part.

Actually, I have experienced this before. *sigh* When would I ever learn from my mistakes? Yeah, I know that this blog is my outlet of emotions, but that doesn't mean that I could write anything. How could I be so pathetic and stupid? Tsk. Does this mean that I am only smart when it comes to textbooks?

Well, that's it for now! So much for this post. I'm sorry I wasn't able to reply to your tags and comment back. I'll try to do those tasks tomorrow. I'm still not completely healed from fever and cough.

You gotta strut like you mean it, free your mind..

...it's not enough just to dream it, come on, come on. :)

Do you remember this song? It's entitled Strut, a song by the Cheetah Girls. Oh, I miss the old times!

Wondering why I made this my title? Well, recently, I had found a lot of cool fashion trends and style in Polyvore.com, and I just want to share them all to you! You all know that I'm not that fond in fashion, so, the reason behind why I'm posting this it's because these fashion trends and style are just so eye-candy, or pleasing to my eyes! I love looking at those shoes, blouses, pants, and all! Well, here they are!

Cool Wayfarer!

Bracelets!

Dresses and Shoes! :D

And..these are some delicious frozen yogurt!

These are some cool tops and pants! :D

All images are from Polyvore.com

Oh, how I wish I could wear them! hahaha..hmm..how would I look like if I would wear these? Imagine it for yourselves if you want! LOL! :)

I don't really have anything much to say about today, except that I'm currently suffering from sore throat, which is a symptom of colds! Oh no! How am I supposed to sing well tomorrow for the Glee Club auditions with colds?! I hope I could still sing well though. I really wanted to join the club, because two of my bestfriends, or close friends rather, are there, so that I could be with them, and all.

Thank you so much to those who gave me pieces of advice on my previous post! I appreciate them a lot! I learned many things from you guys! Once again, thank you so much! It's good to have you in my life, my blogging life! :D

Yeah, like what you all said, I should chill a little from being too grade conscious! hahaha.. :)) But yeah, some also said that being grade conscious is a good thing! So, Imma maintain that! :D

Well, that's it for now! Thanks for reading, and viewing! :)

Before I go, I found a cool piano-piece-remix of River Flows in You by Yiruma (remixed by Vench). You can listen to it on my music playlist, or you can also listen to it here:

Hope you enjoyed my post! :)

Waka waka eh eh! :)

Hey there everyone! How are you all doing? Me, I'm doing fine! Wondering about the title? It's Waka Waka (This Time for Africa) by Shakira! Watch it here! Wee! ^^

I really love this! "Waka waka eh eh! 'Cause this is Africa!"

I first heard this on Ejay's colorful, cute, and awesome blog! Check it out! It's really kawaii, full of graphics and photos on the header, and the colors also match! *sigh* Wish I could also design like her! :)

So, my week went, uh, okay, I could adjust to the Independent Study already, and I also became lucky when it came to waiting for jeepneys to ride, because I easily found one that's not full, and has cool music! I also saw that silly crush, and you know, I don't have a crush on him anymore now! hahaha..xDD Great! Now I can concentrate more in school! But still, I like him, ONLY like, you know, like! haha..yeah, I think you get what I mean.

I was glad that I finished all the activities as early as Thursday, well, that's sort of early for me since I usually finish the activities on a Friday. Thank you God! :) I would like to do some headspining right now, if I only could..haha..

Another thing that made me happy is that I got an overall average of 100% on my English activities! Yay! And I got 2nd place on our NAT (National Achievement Test) among my 2nd year batch before! It was just announced yesterday. I got the overall average of 90%, well, not bad, the first placer got 95%. You know, it could've been higher if it weren't for what happened. Here's the flashback...

I was disappointed a bit because our test papers actually weren't in order when it was given to us, the proctor realized it when we were almost finished taking the test, and we were ended up copying our answers in a scratch paper and erasing answers on the answer sheet and gave the answer sheets to their respective owners! It was the proctor's fault that she did not tell us to pass the answer sheets IN ORDER! Now, the scanner, which is the checker of the test papers, would reject them! It would be so wasted! But what can we do? It's already done! Let's just hope for a good result!

Yeah, our assigned proctor for the NAT exam didn't give the directions correctly, then CRAP! xD It led to not-so-neat answer sheets because "our test papers actually weren't in order when they were given to us, and we ended up copying our answers in a scratch paper and erasing answers on the answer sheet and gave the answer sheets to their respective owners". Imagine how dirty our answer sheets could be.

The first placer on the NAT was lucky because she didn't belong to the room where that effin' proctor was assigned, that's why she got that high 95% average. I pity the one who got 1% as his average on the NAT, and he's that silly crush pa naman.

Well, the first placer in our batch for the NAT got 95%, then me, as second placer, got 90% (it could've been higher..lol), 85% for the third placer, and you know, I really got alarmed when my seatmate at that time, who isn't even smart at all, got the fourth place! See? That's the proof that he really did copy my answers! Well, he got 83% as his average. *sigh* I only knew he copied when my roommates told me by the end of the tests that he did. Woah, so that means most of my answers were correct, and I could've gotten a higher average if my answer sheet was neater. Oh well, it's finished.

I feel like swearing to that proctor! Our ranking results among schools better be good, if not, I'll blame her for the rest of my life..LOLjk!

The ranking among schools weren't announced to us. Well, the teacher who announced the results said that we did better than the previous batch! Yay! Not bad! Woohoo! That's one thing I'm glad about!

That National Achievement Test was hard, and to tell you guys, I was very, very surprised when I knew I got a 90% average, and it could also have been higher! I really thought that I would get an 80% - above average. But thank God I got a 90%! Yay! A 90% for a very hard test that I didn't even study well on! hahah..xD But don't get me wrong, I also studied a bit! :)

This week, one popular issue today in our school is the Glee Club audition! There were a lot of people convincing each other to join that singing club! Some even convinced me! Well, I gotta admit, I also wanted to join, because of the fun, friends, and also for developing my self-confidence, and most importantly, the GRADES!

"Crap!" is the expression of the day! LOL! :) It's because today, I had just realized that first preliminary exams are already fast approaching on the week after next week, and you know, I left all of my books in my locker in school! Oh snap, crap! How am I supposed to study now?! Well, good thing I brought my notebooks at home, which also had some important notes, so, yeah, I could still study a bit! And, the Independent Study wouldn't start yet on Monday, so, thank goodness! But one disadvantage is that I wouldn't be able to do some advance studying now on the weekends. Well, I'll overtime on studying on Monday night!

Another thing, I'm panicking already! It's because I knew that there are 2 more students in our batch that are also smart and would most probably be candidates for the honor roll! OMG! What am I gonna do?! I found out that one classmate of mine who's new is smart, because he topped the results of 2 quizzes along with me, well, on the other one he's the only one who topped, which is in Math, where he got 14/15 and I got 12/15 because I wasn't able to read the instructions right. See? Crap! I would've gotten a 14/15 too if it weren't for not being careful! (T_T) Well, there's still a lot of quizzes and activities to come, and I have to do the best I can to top the results this time!

And, I also found out another new student in our batch that's also smart, by seeing his grades on the English logbook showing 96, 97, 98..and so on! I got 98, 100, and 98, but still, I'm impressed by his performance, and another instance too during PEHM class that we discussed about a topic and he's assigned to read a paragraph of a selection, and woah, he has a great voice, I mean, in speaking, that he would make a great elocutionist, or something like that!

Oh man! 3rd Year's a great challenge for me! I hope I could do well, better than them!

Whew! That's it for now! Hope you reached this far in reading! Thank you! :D

EDIT: Alanna gave me a gift for thanking me, and others for being her affies! Yay! Thanks Alanna! :)

By the way, I found these awesome resource sites on Ejay's blog! :)

It's you and me, Moving at the speed of light into eternity...

...Tonight is the night, to join me in the middle of ecstacy!
Feel the melody in the rhythm of the music around you, around you.. I'm gonna take you there, I'm gonna take you there, So don't be scared I'm right here baby We can go anywhere, go anywhere, But first it's your chance, Take my hand come with me...

Want me to continue singing? LOL! :D Do you recognize this song? It's Forever by Chris Brown! It's a great song, isn't it? I'm addicted to it again~! It's been so long that I haven't heard this song. :)

Watch, and listen to it here! :D

I love the beat! It makes me (even more) happy, and in a good mood! The song is already a bit old, but who cares? It's still a cool song! Yay! :D I never get fed up with it!

How about this? "When I see you, I run out of words to say. I wouldn't leave you, 'cause you're that type of girl, who'd make me stay."

Yes! It's Beautiful by Akon! :D

Waah..I really love the song! "I never wanna see you cry, and I never wanna tell a lie." ^^

Okay! I'll proceed! :)

Again, sorry for not updating that much, because of the ordinary and usual reason like being busy in school, procrastination and laziness, and I just couldn't think of any good topic to think about. All I'm thinking about now are research works, assignments, projects, homeworks, Facebook, YouTube, music, aaand of course, that silly crush I have! LOL! :D

Well, Imma tell you what happened yesterday! As far as I can remember, I did my Computer assignment for how many hours, which was about thinking of a product to sell on the Internet, and make a Site Specifications Document, Storyboard, and Database for it. I chose ballpens and sign pens for my products. Well, I don't really know if our teacher would really make us sell those stuffs. For your information, we're having E-Commerce for our Computer subject, that's why we have this kind of project. Well, thanks to National Bookstore's site, I was able to find some ballpens and sign pens to include on my database! And yeah! With their corresponding model, description, prices, and pictures! Just the site I need to help me on my project!

So, I worked 4 hours on the project! Sweat came out my body, and I was about to loose my temper (LOL) because at some point Microsoft Word won't cooperate with me! Especially when I came to the part on making the Storyboard, which involves an organizational chart, and I had a hard time resizing the text, boxes, margins, and whatnot! Well, good thing I finished doing it! The only thing missing is to print it, but until now I haven't printed it yet because the colored ink on our printer is running low, and I think it wouldn't be enough for printing my project since I have a lot of colorful pictures in it..haha..

Next thing I did was doing our group Powerpoint report on "How to Conduct I.P (Investigatory Project)". I wasn't able to find right away a good site to "copy-paste" (haha). I searched for "how to conduct investigatory project", and all that would appear are investigatory project examples, and some other info I wouldn't need. I came across on "how to make investigatory project", but I thought that it isn't the same as "how to conduct" it, so, again, I came across Yahoo Answers, and I saw an answer about the Scientific Method! Then I thought, "Aha! That's it! The Scientific Method! Maybe I could put that on my report!". Isn't it that when you conduct it, you'd undergo observations, problems, hypothesis, experimentation, and conclusions? So, Scientific Method it is! I came across a site offering free Powerpoint presentations on the Scientific Method! Hurray! Then I just copy-pasted some important infos! Copy-pasting them was so tiring. Imagine? I have to copy-paste infos on 45 slides?! Now that's a lot!

A few hours later, 2 hours to be exact, I'm finally done! That was a relief!

Then, I made a fan sign for Kuya Jhiegzh's site! Finally! I had the time to make it! :)

Credits to Fotoflexer and Cooltext! :D

Yesterday also, I saw that someone online on Facebook Chat! LOL! :D Waah..I didn't bother to chat with him because, you know, I'm (most of the time) not feeling that comfortable when talking to boys, especially to the one I like..haha.. :) And besides, we all know how that popping chatbox disturb us! Wooh~! Kinikilig ba ako?! Waah..slight lng! My cheeks are burning up..LOL! :))

So, fast forward to today! My tummy has been hurting ever since, and I don't know the reason why. I didn't eat or drink anything that would hurt my stomach. Oh well.

I once again discovered a lot of things today because of Tumblr! I laughed, and strongly agreed on a lot of posts! Some of these are on my Tumblog. Care to visit it? And, another great news!
