It's Gonna be Okay .

Hey there everyone! How are you all doing? Me, I'm doing fine! Again, I missed you all! It's good that I am once again back from the weekdays to see you! So, I'mma tell you about some highlights during the week! :)

So, this week, we had our "most awaited[?]" exams! Well, as usual, the exam was okay for me. Of course, there were some complicated questions I had to answer, like in English, when there was a question about, "What type of place is Blackpool?". I didn't really know the answer, so, I answered an answer which was so far away from the real answer to the question, and, you wouldn't want to know what it was.. haha

Here's a fact by the way about Blackpool from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blackpool:

Blackpool (pronounced /ˈblækpuːl/ ( listen)) is a seaside town and unitary authority in Lancashire, England. Situated along the coast of the Irish Sea, it has a population of 142,900, making it the third-largest settlement in North West England behind Manchester and Liverpool. It lies 40 miles (64 km) north-west of the city of Manchester, and less than 30 miles north of Liverpool City centre. Blackpool is the fourth most densely populated local authority district of England & Wales outside Greater London.[2]

Blackpool rose to prominence as a major centre of tourism during the 19th century, particularly for the inhabitants of northern mill towns.

So, I think that's it for the exams! Araling Panlipunan (Social Studies) was easy, as usual! I really did some cramming for the exams, thinking that I should really do my "better best" this 2nd grading period!

And, speaking of grading periods, First Grading results are up! Here's my report card once again! :)

You can always click the image for a bigger view. If you want to stay in this current page you may right click then select Open Link in New Tab or Window.

So, what do you think?

I had to admit, I was very disappointed with my results, because my grade point average was only 95.95%, and you know, I was really aiming so high like I want to aim for a 98% average or a 97.50%, but it looks like, or it seems to me that I couldn't reach that anymore, or, could I still?

Anyway, the challenge has just started, there is still a long way to go! :)

By the way, I should have posted this blog post yesterday or this morning, but I decided to post it now since I wasn't really in a good mood during those times, again, because of the low grade point average I had, and those low grades. If I would post something here during those times, I might say something hurtful, or bad, or negative, to others again.

Well, at least I still reached First Honors! I placed 2nd among the two first honors we had for the whole 3rd year level. The top student (for now.. bwahaha) has a grade point average of 96.5%, so, both of us have a 0.55 difference, and I guess I could still beat that! :) It's good that the school allows a lot of first, second, and third honors! haha.. :))

And, you know, it's good that I have a father who encourages me to move on and aim higher despite the downfall I have now! I love my father for that! And might as well my mother too! :D

I guess I should still be very thankful to GOD! Without Him I could never reach this far! :)

Well, that's it for now! Short post for now! I guess I'm not that inspired anymore today to write a blog post. Grades, please bring my inspiration back! ^^,

FIELD TRIP 9-15-10

Hey there everyone! How are you doing? If you ask me, I'm doing fine! So, I'm going to write about our Educational Field Trip which was last Wednesday, September 15, 2010. Yeah, I know, late post, right? I guess you already know the usual reasons I have for that. :)

So, we went to PHIVEDEC Industrial Authority (PIA) and Philippine Sinter Corporation. The field trip was kind'a boring, but still, I had a bit of fun! I took a lot of pictures! I guess I took around 151 pictures all in all, and that's a record for me! You know, I had never taken this much pictures before, so, I'm proud of myself to finally achieve the record..haha.

Let me tell you about PIA: (from http://en.wikipilipinas.org/index.php?title=PHIVIDEC_Industrial_Authority)

The PHIVIDEC Industrial Authority (PIA), a government owned and controlled corporation and an Industrial Authority, was established on 13 August 1974 by virtue of Presidential Decree No. 538, as amended by PD 1491. It is mandated by its Charter to identify, develop, manage and supervise the 3,000-hectare Phividec Industrial Estate in Misamis Oriental, and equip these areas with the necessary infrastructures to encourage the inflow of domestic and foreign investments.

So, yeah, here are the pictures when we were in PHIVEDEC Industrial Authority:

The Speaker.

Tour around the Estate! :D

After that, we went back to school to eat our lunch or snacks.

Some of us played basketball, especially the girls! :D I really had so much fun! You know, I noticed that I feel taller now..hahah..yeah, because of playing basketball! It's so great that I had the time to play with my girl friends! :)

Cool shot! ahah.. :))

And about the sunglasses I was telling you about which I was going to wear on this trip, here are pictures of me wearing them! :D

Here's the jeepney we rode by the way:

This jeepney has great sounds! We enjoyed riding it..LOL!

Next Stop: Philippine Sinter Corporation

This place is very far from our place! I think it took us 30 minutes to get there! :D

So, let me tell you about PSC: (from http://www.psc.ph/)

Philippine Sinter Corporation (PSC) was incorporated in 1974, by JFE Steel Corporation, one of the world's largest steel makers. The company manages and operates the only sinter production facility in the world that is detached from a steel mill complex.
Here are the pictures:

I love this! :)

The sintered rock, and a friend of mine. :)

Class of 3rd Year Einstein! :D I love them all! :) Even though I have issues with them..haha..oh forget it! :D

We went to the Japanese Gardens! :)

I had pictures with RANDOM people. :P Those two guys have nothing to do with me, especially the shorter one..ahahah. Do I look ugly here?

Yep! Another trip around the company factory! :) Here are more pictures:

And, last but not the least, the two advisers of our 3rd Year batch!

We call her Ma'am Bas. :) She's my Math teacher! I love how she teaches us our lessons, because I can understand her well! She also made me love Math even more! :D

..and here's Ma'am Glo. :D She's our class adviser, and my Values teacher! And you know, she's one of the few teachers who knew my nickname, now she calls me by it..haha.. :))

I LOVE these teachers! They've taught me a lot! :)

And might as well other teachers too! :D

So, I guess that would be the end of my field trip! I had really taken a lot of pictures! The places we went to were also big, spacious, good for walking around and taking countless pictures! It was indeed memorable, although it was a bit boring, but I learned A LOT!

Let's jump to another topic! This week would be our exams, so, again, you wouldn't expect me to blog anything during the time, especially on weekdays, but I guess I could blog a little on the Friday, especially that it's once again the MOMENT OF TRUTH for our grades for the 1st GRADING PERIOD! OMG! I'm feeling all nervous and worried! I know I had performed well for the grading period, but it's the ranking I'm worried about! I just hope I could top the whole 3rd year class, but if not, I guess I'm already prepared to accept it, there's still 2nd to the final grading period anyway, so, yeah, and I had also joined a whole lot of clubs and contests, so, there would be a lot of extracurricular points to add on my general average in the finals! You know, I REALLY NEED THE LAPTOP, and I wouldn't get that laptop if I wouldn't top the class this school year! Please, PRAY for me if you can! :)

Here's a Tumblr image from http://avdfc.tumblr.com/page/75

-- Which truly applies to me now! ahahah.. xD

That was a while ago, but now, I PROMISE I'd study already, after writing this blog post!

Oh wait, I have to blog hop to the max before I'd study..LOL!

Gosh! I don't like this attitude of mine being so relaxed for the exam! But no wonder I still get high scores (I'm not bragging!).

Well, that's it for now! Thanks for reading and viewing! :D What a very long post, right? :)

HE knows. GOD knows.

Hey there everyone! How are you all doing? Me, I'm doing fine! I had been through a lot yesterday and today! Read on to know what they are! :)

September 13, 2010

So, I woke up a bit later than usual, at around 6 in the morning. We ate peanut butter sandwich during breakfast. Then we got ready for school. We left home at around 7am, rode a jeepney 10 minutes later, then arrived in school at 7:18am, 2 minutes before the start of the flag ceremony! It's a good thing that we came just in time! I really thought that we were already late at that time, and oh man, I was wearing that 1.5-inch heeled shoes, so, it was hard for me to walk, and even run!

Yeah, I know, I'm still a noob with using these kinds of shoes..ahaha..But I do hope someday, I could get the hang of wearing it! Well, maybe it's the design of high-heeled shoes that affects my walking (and running) ability when I wear them. I remember myself wearing 1-inch shoes during my elementary years, and I could walk pretty well with them, but those shoes had straps. But now, in high school, I wondered why I found it pretty hard to walk with a pair of shoes (which I have now), even though there's just a 0.5-inch difference between them. I found out that it's the absence of the straps in the shoe design that made it hard for me to walk. So, yeah, it's good to know about that.

Now back to the flag ceremony, yeah, it started in a few minutes, then after that, our assistant principal once again announced the activities for this week. It's a good thing that it would just be all about Sudoku and Tangram elimination rounds for the elementary and high school, then the EDUCATIONAL FIELD TRIP all the grade and year levels are going to have! I guess you already know that I am very, very, MAJOR-ly excited for this field trip, especially because we're going very, very far away, and I guess I already told you that too, in my previous post! So, yeah, I'm also excited because I get to have bonding with some batchmates from the other section, especially them, her, and HIM , ahahah!

After the announcements, we went back to our classroom, then moments later we went to our school covered court for a seminar about How to Conduct Investigatory Project. The guest speaker was nice, I guess he's really approachable, not bad tempered, and all. Yeah, he's really good. I learned a lot from him, and others had too. We learned about the Intel Philippines Science Fair writeup format, and we also knew and understood better about the independent, dependent, and control variable. Independent variable is the variable that could affect the result, which is the dependent variable, and the control variable is the one that we manipulate and it is also the variable that would not change throughout the experimentation process.

After the seminar, next would be the Investigatory Project workshop, wherein we get to apply what we learned from the previous seminar, and we also get to present our own Investigatory Projects, defend them, and be asked some questions by the guest speaker! I don't know exactly why, but I really did have fun during the workshop! Especially at that time when we presented our Investigatory Project, I had "fun" answering questions and listening to the speaker for some additional info for our study! Yeah, it's fun for me to learn! ahahah!

While "listening" to the guest speaker and the other IP presenters, I doodled around on my notebook. I actually had another fun time! haha! Yeah, I expressed what I felt/feel through drawing and doodling! :)

COLOR your LIFE! :)

And, I also took a picture with my first ever bestfriend in high school, just before the seminar started.

Then, after the seminar/workshop, I, along with other students who had also been to the said workshop, went to check out our other classmates, then went to our own separate ways. Those schoolmates of mine who didn't attend the seminar/workshop went to see a movie entitled "I am Legend". After searching that movie on the Internet, I found out that it is a GREAT movie, and wished that I could also watch it too! You may learn all about the movie by clicking here.

So, here's the theatrical release poster of the movie, from this source.

When we're done with all the programs on that day, I stayed at the canteen with my BF, then I took some vain pictures of myself! ahahah! Here are some of them! :)

And last but not the least, doing the "pouty face" which I am so "trying hard" to do!

This face doesn't fit me, right? ahahah..tell me honestly! :D

September 14, 2010

Well, today had been just like any other day, except that our 4th Year HS schoolmates went on a field trip, and our school was a bit more quiet because of their absence. There was no decent class; many teachers weren't around. Yes, we had the Independent Study (IS), which I thought there would only be lesser activities because then again I thought that those teachers who weren't around would not leave activities for us, but it turned out that I was wrong, and that they still left some activities, but then they're just simple ones, so yeah, it's alright.

Also in the afternoon, we were left with some activities, but because some of my classmates are hard-headed, they don't do them anyway. They think that the deadline wouldn't be on this day anyway, so, yeah. That's who they are.

We were dismissed early today, so, hurray! But still, we went home at the usual time, because I had to wait for my sibling who didn't have the early-dismissal advantage! ahahah..

After the dismissal, me and a close friend of mine talked about a lot of things first before we went home. You know, I really enjoy listening, and might as well talking, to talkative people, just like the friend I'm referring to here! It's so fun listening to them, laughing with them, feeling what they felt, and many others! I'm glad I made friends like those!

So, I guess that ends the significant parts of the day!

That's it for now! I gotta go do my assignments first! It's good that I found time to blog here! I really do miss every one of you whenever I'm away in this blogging world! :)

I guess I should blog hop a little, later, after doing the assignments. :D I'll also reply to some shoutmix messages, and those comments on my post, later! :)

So, BYE for a while! :D

P.S. Have you noticed the new navigation above? What do you think? Thanks to http://valums.com/scroll-menu-jquery/ for the tutorials and Raindropmemory for the icons! :)

I'll also edit my GIRL section, since my info there isn't updated. xD And the credits too, since I have to add Raindropmemory there, and might as well the tutorial. :D
